Chapter Two Hundred & Forty-One

Paula was now working in Jamal's house. Jamal was against it because of the way she threw passes at him. He did not want what happened between him and Alex to occur again, he could not tell Melanie the reason for his dislike for Paula.

" You do not have to like her, she is here to work, and that is it" Melanie had told him.

Paula made sure that everything that happened in the house was reported to Dave.

She would sneak into Rose's room just to play with her, the first time she saw Rose, she went to the bathroom and cried. She was sad and angry with herself for letting go of such a child but then again, she somehow felt happy that she was doing well and not in the hell of a house with her ex-boyfriend.

She did everything that Dave asked her to do.

She went to her room to call Dave as usual. She took her phone and called him. He picked up the first ring.

" Ryan got into another school, he is now in high school," she told him.

" Great, he is growing up so fast, high school right?
