Chapter Two Hundred & Nineteen

The hall was big enough to accommodate so many people. It was spacious and well-decorated.

The staff of Jamal's company began to turn up.

Jamal was at home. He was still waiting for Melanie to finish up. He wanted the both of them to go together. He waited for her until she was done with her makeup.

She checked herself and saw how beautiful she looked. She went to meet Jamal in the car and they both left the house for the event.

They got there because it was just a company event. The faces there were all familiar. The hall was beautifully decorated, and the lighting too added color to the hall.

They got inside. They were offered a special section of the hall to be in. Jamal shook hands with all of his team members who he had worked with and the ones he is still working with. He sat down with Melanie by his side. He felt happy that he had given in to the advice that he host an event in honor of himself and his staff.
