Chapter Two Hundred & One
Melanie went back inside. She left Mrs. Alcantara standing by the door. She did not let her in.

Mrs. Alcantara stood there waiting for a long while thinking that Melanie would change her mind but she did not.

"Ah! This child!" Mrs. Alcantara mumbled.

She left. She got home and went to her room and had to pour out the tears that she had been holding back. She let it out and cried. Her voice attracted Mr. Alcantara who was padding. He came into the room and asked her what was wrong and why she was crying.

"She hates me, she does not want to see me," she said as she cried more.

"You went to her house, right? I asked you not to go and I told you to let her be so that she could handle herself, why would you go there knowing fully well that she would not receive you?" He said in annoyance as he stormed out of the room.

Mrs. Alcantara could not hold herself. She cried out. She looked helpless, only if Melanie would reconcile back to her.

"I.... I thought she would change her mind." Mrs. Al
