Chapter Two Hundred & Thirteen

She rushed out of bed. She was grateful that nothing had happened to her. Alex began to prepare for work. She rushed out to work. When she got to work, she saw Clara and got a way of telling her that she failed. She stuck her tongue out at her quickly, no one saw her do that. She got closer to Clara and they both exchanged looks. She kept a normal expression.

Alex was certain that no one knew who was behind the information leaking out to Jamal's stepfamily, they all thought that Clara was the one being playful and needed to tell the truth.

She got inside her office and saw the door open. She stayed outside to peep inside. She found nothing. She got in anyway hoping nothing was amidst.

While she settled down to work. She got a call. She picked it up.

" Any information?" Madam Theresa asked.

" No, not yet" she answered.

" Keep me updated," Madam Theresa said.

" Always" she replied. She crossed her fingers to always give Madam Theresa any information she found useful.
