Chapter Two Hundred & Thirty

Melanie was brought into the doctor's office. They wanted her to sign the papers for the operation on her baby.

" Is he going to be alright?" She asked.

" Yes, sure, after this though" the doctor responded.

They gave her the papers and without hesitation, as she went through them, she signed them.

She returned to Jamal. When she got there, He had fallen asleep. She was glad that he was asleep as she did not want to tell him about the baby's health.

She went back home, she could not stay in the house alone so she drove to her parent's house.

After some weeks, Jamal was discharged from the hospital. Their baby was fine as well. They had all come back from the hospital.

" I am so happy to have you back," Melanie said to Jamal.

She held her baby in her hands as well.

Jamal took the baby from Melanie, looking at his baby, he smiled.

" I am happy to see you again. I am happy that you made it out alive" he felt a kind of joy that he could not explain.
