Chapter 19

The lady shook her head, sighed, and walked to another corner. He roughly scratched his head in fatigue and annoyance as his eyes rolled from left to right.

If she wasn’t needy, the system’s location tag wouldn’t be above her head, he tried to check if he would see another target but the street was empty with few people who mind their business.

“This is crazy.” He muttered as he approached the lady.

“Okay, my apologies for how I sounded earlier.” He couldn’t believe the fact that he was begging who was at fault and also begging to help someone.

“That’s the past, you can go.” She sounded so proud as if she deserved it. He scoffed.

“So, is there something I can help you with? Maybe with a lift or something?” He asked anxiously, his eyes rolling over her.

She smirked, facing him. Her light yellow eyes intoxicated him for the first time and his Adam's apple glided, and he suddenly became nervous.
