Nina walked into the office, she went straight to Max's office.

“ Here it is” She dropped a receipt on the table.

“ What is that?” Max's eyes were on his laptop.

“ It looks like a receipt. The money you asked me to pay back” Her tone was harsh.

Max raised his eyes from his laptop as he heard that. He stretched his hands and took the receipt. He had to look at the figures to make sure they were correct.

“ I will confirm this, it might be some fake stuff” he took his phone and called the accountant.

“ Hey, did you get any money today, check the account if anything was sent from Nina,” He said to the accountant.

“ Yes sir, it came this morning, the figure that left the account some days ago,” she said.

Max ended the call.

“ You can leave,” He said to her.

“ I thought you were going to lay me off, what is the plan?” She asked him.

“ You stay a little longer but you will be laid off soon” He went back to his laptop.

After she left his office, he picked up the receipt
