Inside the carriage, Ian was thinking about what he had to do next as he  stared outside the window blankly. He had to buy a house for the people he was taking in and he wanted it near the duchy. Arthur and Steve was in the carriage with Ian. Steve was one of the other two guards who accompanied him previously. The other one was Adel, who was with Corner at the moment.

"Is there any vacant building near the duchy? One with a big yard and garden?"

They both understood for why their master was buying a building. Arthur wanted to see what Ian has planned, so he suggested a building that was owned by one of his friends. He kept the fact that he knew the owner a secret but Ian knew about it anyway.

"Then let's go there."

After half an hour, they reached the place. It would be an understatement to call it a simple building. It was no less than a mansion. There was also a huge fountain with a white statue in the middle. The garden was big enough to get lost inside. Various flowers were in full bloom everywhere. Counting the underground floor, there were a total of five floors in the building. It was square in shape with the inside being hollow. The empty space was big enough to be used as a training field.

"Can you guys handle the paperwork here? I want to take a stroll around the garden. "

"Then I'll be with you. Steve will be enough for the initial discussion."

"Can you do it? The price doesn't matter as long as it doesn't cross 1 million franc."

"I can do it." Steve had a determined expression on his face. After he left, Ian turned around and walked towards the garden. This was one of Arthur's future mansion's. He was going to receive it as a token of gratitude.

'I do feel a bit guilty for taking something that was supposed to be his in the future, but it's fine since he'll have many more of them, right?'

Ian rationalised his decision mentally and came to a peaceful conclusion.

Ian was walking through the garden. The tall flower trees resembled Sakura trees in some aspect, but they all had different color's. There were many exquisite flowers, there were also wild flowers here and there. Arthur was silently observing him as he walked.

Every once in a while, Ian would get down and pick one of the wild flowers. While picking flowers, they walked towards the center of the garden.

In the center, there was a huge field with no big trees. But wild flowers were in full bloom in the field. Most of them were blue in colour, with white ,pink, yellow in between. Without Ian noticing, his hands were already full with flowers.

"Hey Art, with this much flower, won't it even rain flowers? haha''

Seeing all these flowers made Ian really happy for some reason. He was talking nonsense as a result.

"Do you want it to rain flowers?"

Ian started to laugh hearing Arthur keep up with his nonsense. So he replied what he genuinely wanted.

"I do. Won't it be very pretty?"

"I see."

Suddenly a cool bridge stared blowing. It was soft, wherever it went, the flowers danced. Slowly, the breeze started getting stronger. The flower petals started shaking.

Ian looked behind, to his surprise, Arthur was using wind magic silently. As his hair fluttered in the wind, the breeze grew stronger and started taking flowers with it wherever it went through. After a few moments, the breeze finally stopped as lots of flowers went up.

When Arthur stopped his magic, the petals and flowers started falling down the sky like raindrops. They fell on top of Ian, on his head, his shoulders, his hand. Ian stretched his hands out and within a few moments, his hands were full with flowers. A smile appeared on his face without him realizing. It was a really beautiful scene.

'I wish we had camera's here. It's such a waste to not record something so amazing and pretty. '

"Thanks, Art. It's really pretty."

"Anything for you, young master. "

"We should head back now. Steve should be done with his talk by now. "

"Yes."

With a bunch of flowers in his hand, Ian and Art turned around and left the garden. Outside the garden, Steve was already waiting for them with another person. It was the housekeeper who was in charge of this house.

"These are the documents for the house, young master. The price is .8 million franc."

"Alright. Good work out there. "

Ian looked toward the other man.

"Do you have anything to carry the money?"

"Yes."

"Alright. Here."

After transferring the money, the housekeeper, along with the other servants left the house after handing Steve the keys and explaining everything to him.

"You have another job to do, Stevie. You need to deliver a message to Corner. Tell him to bring a few more solders with him and transfer all the slaves here. Also bring a few doctors, healers servants,  a few sets of clothes for 300 people and enough food to sustain 300 people for a month. Here's 50000 franc. Ask me if you need more. "

Steve was a little surprised to see Ian call him by his nickname. But his surprise didn't last much longer after hearing the number of errands growing bigger. As if Ian understood what he was thinking, he spoke up-

"Take a few soldiers with you and make them do the work. Make sure you don't miss anything."

"Yes! I'll be back as soon as I can , young master. "

"Don't miss your lunch.''

After Steve left, it was just the two of them once again. Ian turned and looked towards Arthur with a serious expression. Arthur didn't know what he was going to do next so he unconsciously stiffened up. But what came out of his mouth was something Arthur really didn't expect.

"Aren't you hungry?"

"Yes?"

"It's almost noon. Let's go have lunch. I'm hungry. "

" ....... "

Ian started walking towards the gate without waiting for a response from Arthur. His steps were light since he was in a good mood.

After leaving the mansion, Ian and Arthur went to the nearest restaurant. It wasn't as fancy as 'Delish' but the food was pretty good. Ian specially liked the deserts and ordered a bunch of cakes and desserts. He had a small structure so Art was pretty shocked to see him eat so much.

"Won't you get a stomachache if you eat so much sweet?"

"What? No! I have a separate stomach for desserts, y'know?"

"Haha. Then please eat a bit slowly, young master. You'll choke at this rate."

"Fine fine! But order another Coffee Jello for me please.''

Sigh.

Arthur sighed as he went to order another coffee jello for Ian.

'Really, what's wrong with him? Why's he so different from the rumors? I'm having a hard time reading him.'

Arthur was honestly frustrated. He only came to work as a knight here to make sure that Ian was a bad guy with his own eyes. Why's he working so hard for something so trivial?

"I'm back, young master."

''Hm? Why do you look so down? Did someone scold you?''

"No, it's just-"

"Oh my! Isn't that our dear young master Ian?"

A mocking voice came from behind Arthur, cutting him off. Turning around, he could see a boy around their age, with a few other guys. The boy had blonde hair with luxurious clothes and accessories hanging around his body. 'A spoiled brat' , that's what came to both Ian and Arthur's mind as they observed him.

"What happened? I  heard that you were sick last time. How did you get well so quickly? We were so worried about you! "

While the blondie  was uttering bullshit, the guys behind him were snickering among each other. It was obvious that they were making fun of him.

While they were busy laughing like idiots, Ian was trying to remember who this fool was. Blonde hair, shitty attitude.

'Hmmm........Ken something? That's right! It's that stinking rat bastard who always hid behind William! Kenneth!'

Ian was feeling proud of himself for being able to remember such a minor characters name. While he was busy in his thoughts, Ken observed him and thought he succeeded in getting on Ian's nerves.

Step by step, they came closer and surrounded him, leaving no space for retreat. They were clearly looking down on him. As for the reason, it's because Ian couldn't awaken or use his powers despite having noble blood.

His father was one of the most powerful water mages in the kingdom. In the past, Adrian could do nothing but listen to all the insults everyone threw at him for his inability. The only other thing he could do was start a fight with bastards like Ken and get badly beaten up.

Around this time in the story as well, they made fun of him and got badly beaten up by Ian. In the novel, after waking up from the coma, Ian awakened his powers and was able to use it quite well.

As for why he suddenly changed so much, there was nothing concrete in the novel, just some speculation and rumours.

While Ian was blanking out, Arthur moved from his seat and stood in front of him as if to protect him. He was also glaring at them.

"Huh? Where'd this pheasant come from?

Were you eating together? Did your taste change after almost dying? Why'd you eat at the same table as your servants? Haha"

They started laughing again while Arthur's frown became even deeper. He really hated trashes like these.Ian unconsciously spoke up what he was thinking.

"Bunch of idiots."

".......?"

"???"

Not only Ken but his lackeys also all had dumbfounded expression on their faces.

"What? Did my ears went bad?"

"No, he really said that. Did he really go crazy?"

"Haha, did he finally lose it or something?"

"Let's leave, Art. I'm not hungry anymore. Talking to them will only leave a bad aftertaste."

"Yes, young master."

Ian placed a few silver coins in the table and turned around to leave the place but the blonde guy moved blocking his way.

Haaah.

A big sigh came out of Ian's mouth. He brushed his hair back with his hand and frowned. He looked at Ken and gave him a final warning.

"Move."

"Wow, did that bastard just glare at me? Hey did you guys see that too? Want me to mess up your pretty little face agai-aack!"

Before anyone could even understand what happened,Ken stumbled with his hand covering his stomach as he fell backwards. Blood started dripping down from his nose as he lost consciousness. Ian was still standing there, looking irritated.

"Anyone else? No? Guess you guys are smarter than that scum. Art. Let's go."

"Yes!"

While Ken's lackeys were completely confused as to what happened just now, Arthur and Ian left the place. Although it was too fast for them to notice, Arthur saw the whole thing.

Although it happened within a moment, Ian actually hit him three times in three different places. First he punched him in the face, making him lose balance, then he punched him in the stomach and kicked him in the end to make him fall. It looked so natural that people would think he did it pretty often.

"That left a bad aftertaste. Do you have any candy?"

"I do, young master. The ones you gave us last time."

Ian stretched his hand out in front of Arthur. Arthur went through his pocket and pulled out a green candy.

"Oh! Lemon! My favourite. Thanks."

Arthur decided not to ask him about the techniques he saw just now. Instead he decided to do some more research about Ian.

She became his family. These were precious memories. So he couldn't understand why he'd lock them up like this.
