Ian wanted to draw lots and select a specific date when he can celebrate all of their birthdays together.

As he proposed the idea of a joint birthday celebration, all of the kids looked at him with excitement in their eyes. They all had vague ideas about birthdays and party's but had no practical experience.

'Whats even worse, many of them probably don't even know their own birthdays..'
