Ian's Decision

Just as Ian had asked for, the crystal of truth was brought in. The second prince and his men thought that Ian had decided to give up and confess his crimes since he had no more support or backup left to count on. 

Afterall, the moment his own parents failed to place their trust on him, he had already lost the battle. They were, at least according to Cedric and his men, Ian's best support and his only saviors, unbeknownst to them the true skills and talents of Noah, who was residing in Ian's body.

They placed the crystal of truth in front of Ian. It was placed on a stand that was decorated with the royal crest, making it one of the most valued items of the kingdom. Even in the whole continent, there was only a few of these crystals. 

As mentioned previously, the crystal changes colour according to the words of the speaker. If they are speaking the truth, then it'll remain the same pale blue colour and if they're lying, it'll glow red.
