After changing into a plain set of clothes, Ian snuck out of the mansion quietly. The guards were either half asleep or not talented enough to notice his presence so he didn't get caught.

Ian inhaled and exhaled deeply as he took in the cold morning air. It was refreshing and the scenery was beautiful. He went out from the back gate and started walking alongside the road.

While he was busy enjoying the view of the wild flowers and the chirping sounds of the birds, he unconsciously started walking towards the river. After fifteen minutes of walking like that, the river was finally in sight.

"Huh? Why did I come here? Wasn't I walking along the road?"

Ian tilted his head in confusion as he looked at the river. The water in the river looked like liquid gold as the morning sunlight shone on it.
