The previous King and Rick's older brother decided to leave his fate to Ian. It was the last strand of hope that was left to a dying man, that's what he was entrusting Ian with.

With that, Ian's preparation to use the blue flame to cure him began. First of all, there were two things he needed to do.

"First, I'll need mana stones. A lot of them."

Since the blue flame required more than ten times the amount of mana compared to normal healing spells, it was obvious that Ian would run out of mana before he can even heal a single limb.

"Mana stones?"

Rick wondered what Ian was planning to do as he tilted his head. To which, Ian replied with a serious nod.

"Yes. Enough to fill at least half of this room."
