Ian asked Louis to stop and he quickly took back the sword that was halfway up in the wind towards the wolfs direction.
The village kids, although scared and shivering, didn't move away from the wolf till the last second, fearing that the sword might go up again and harm the wolf.
As Louis came back following Ian's order, Henry also couldn't figure out the situation and stepped back. Ian slowly approached the kids as he knew they were scared and in desperate need of help.
"It's okay.
They won't harm the wolf.
See? No weapon."
Ian approached them slowly and crouched down to get on the same eye level as the kids. They looked at Ian and the fact that he didn't look threatening at all helped the kids calm down a lot.
