Brad followed Nick into the room.

Ryan was tied against a chair. He had bruises all over his face.

Brad studied him for a moment before he stepped closer, with Nick beside him.

“Ryan,” he called softly.

Ryan raised his head slowly and looked at him. A smirk appeared on his face.

“Are you going to kill me?”

Brad sighed. “Why did you not tell me that Vincenzo was threatening you?”

Ryan huffed and coughed out blood. “There was nothing I could do. It was either my wife or your life.”

“And you think you could take my life?”

Brad scoffed. “I will give you the last chance, Ryan. I will not kill you if you tell me everything you know about Vincenzo.”

Ryan looked away. “I'm not interested in any more deals. My wife is dead already, what am I still doing in the world,” he said, his voice soft and full of emotions.

“Well,” Brad started suddenly and went around him slowly. “Consider yourself lucky that I'm giving you this second chance. Do you think Vincenzo will let you go?”
