Chapter 158

"Good morning, boss," there were greetings from all directions as Brad marched through the reception area to the elevator.

He briefly waved at them, his eyes trained on his destination.

Brad preps himself for the day's work as the elevator takes him up to the floor where his office is.

He had barely settled in when a soft knock sounded on his door.

"Come in," he hollered out without looking up from the files he was studying.

"Good morning, sir," Ciana greeted.

"Morning," he briefly looked up, absentmindedly taking in her crisply ironed office wear.

Having Brad's indifferent gaze on her made Ciana fidgety for a while but she soon got her whims around her.

"There's a meeting scheduled for 1:00 PM. It's your first meeting for the day."

Brad nodded then he reclined in his chair and listened to her as she continued to fill him in about his work schedule for the day.
