Chapter 176

"So should I drive home?" Nick asked as he pulled out of Byford Bar's driveway and onto the road.

"Do you think they would still dare to tail us after the beating they just received?" Brad sounded tired but his words were amusing.

Nick chuckled and he thought If he were even any of those men, he would quit his job or thuggery or whatever they called their profession with Ned and beg for a chance with Brad.

"I doubt it, boss," then he added, "They may not have learned their lesson in a lifetime but they surely have learned their lesson for tonight."

Brad smiled and looked out the window as Nick drove him to his home. "You should make sure you apply something to heal those bruises," he said indifferently but Nick smiled, "Thank you, sir. I will."

Brad did not want to admit that in just a few hours that they were apart, he actually missed his driver.

Brad let out a relieved breath as Nick pulled up in his driveway. He opened the garage doors for him to drive in.
