Chapter 210

"How the fuck am I out of ketchup?" Claire hotly muttered under her breath, exasperated. She slammed the pantry close and walked over to the fridge to grab the carton of her leftover orange juice.

She closed her eyes and let out a content sigh as the sweet cold liquid tricked through her throat, calming her. As she replaced the carton of juice in the fridge, she remembered how it happened that she didn't have ketchup.

She sighed and shuffled to where she remembered keeping the list she had written out.

She had run out of ketchup on the morning of her birthday but she had only managed to make a list, intending to go the shopping for the groceries and other essentials that she needed on Sunday but some people had been too glad to ruin her day and made Sunday a numb day for her.
