Brad felt pity for her for an instant but he soon shook it off.

There was no way he would even accept someone like Linda back into his life.

"They threatened me. They said if I don't find a way to break up with you, they would come to the school and report you for a crime that would get you expelled. So, I had no choice but to plan the break up in such a way," She explained and looked up at Brad.

Tears were streaming down her eyes.

Brad found it hard to believe. How could her parents threaten her to break up with him? How could what he saw at the hotel be a lie?

"It's true!" Linda blurted out when she saw the disbelief in his eyes. "Ever since we broke up, I haven't been myself. I haven't been able to eat or sleep very well and I'm telling you the truth. Mick also threatened me," she sobbed harder and wiped the tears off her cheek.

"Mick threatened you?" Brad was finding her lies incredibly upsetting.

"Yes, he knew the break up was planned and I still love you. So, he threatened me.
