Chapter 53: Moving out

Brad woke up to a loud noise coming from the living room.

Brad stretched and looked at the wall clock. It was a few minutes after nine. He really woke up late.

Well, last night. He barely got any sleep because of the situation on the ground. And well, he already plans to get used to it. Who knows how many more sleepless nights he was going to have?

He needed to be ready by 6 that night as well and he wondered how long that would extend to.

He washed his face and walked out of the room.

David was the first person to look up. There was a huge smile on his face. "Brad! You are awake!"

Brad smiled. "You guys seem happy this morning. Is something wrong?"

"You can't imagine this? Benjamin is sponsoring us all to Fundraiser," David announced. "I mean the clothing and everything. It won't be like the rest of the fundraisers we have ever attended. This is going to be different."
