Chapter 40. Goodbye!

Before they arrived, Abel ran off leaving Angel alone there. The girl was forced to do so at Angel's own insistence.

Loud sobs accompanied the escape. The tiny hand tried to wipe her wet cheeks with a very sad heart.

Abel tried to strengthen her legs, walking along the sandy beach. The sky lit up in color as a sign that the sun was about to emerge from there.

After struggling Abel managed to touch the water. Looking for the position of the boat according to the instructions given to Angel.

"Ah, there it is!" the boat appeared and Abel immediately approached it. Footsteps made water splash all over her clothes. Until Abel managed to grab the edge of the boat. Jumping to get on, she moved her hands to quickly row.

The water that was originally calm began to be noisy due to the splash of the oar handle breaking the surface of the water. Abel slowly left this place and the boat moved away from the shore.

"Brother Angel, I'm sorry! I always hope God will always protect you."
