A dead man is brought back to life

Chapter 12.

It was like a joke when Andre had said he will wake Patriarch Rollins, so they all laughed at him and stared as if he had grown four head.

"Wake up a dead man?" They rolled their eyes and scoffed at him.

They turned and gave Sasha a menacing stare. "Sasha, what sort of man did you bring here? A con man? Was it necessary to bring him here to humiliate yourself?"

Sasha's self-esteem plummeted, and she wished that the earth would open up and swallow her.

She would not have brought Andre if she had known what kind of man he was.

"Please take me to the old man. I will wake him up; he is still alive."

"Are you too dumb to understand that my father is no longer alive?" Badmus yelled, a vein protruding from his forehead.

Sasha seized Andre's hands and dragged him to a corner. She released her hands and looked into his eyes.

"Could you please explain what you mean by my grandfather being alive? How certain are you? If you are sure, I can take you in there with no one stopping me.
