Chapter 31: Doomed

“How dare you!” He growled again as he bent down, grabbing Benita’s neck

“P.. p.. please”Benita choked out, her eyes protruding in fear as her life flashed before her.

“P… p… p… please”She stuttered, tears streaming down her face but Mr Vain’s face remained cold, his grip tightening around her fragile neck.

“Why now ? Why do I have to die just when I have gotten a breakthrough in my life ? Benita thought, more tears flooding down her face.

Continually , she found herself glancing at the door,hoping that her savior would come to her rescue.

But he was nowhere in sight

She was all alone at the mercy of this cruel man and who knows if she would come out of this alive.
