Chapter 14:- Reveal of the truth

To my surprise he hugged me.

I looked up and saw that he had tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, boy," said the demon king. "I never expected to see someone who I believed had died."

"What are you talking about?" I asked. "Why are you crying?"

The demon king released me and stepped back.

He wiped away his tears and told me, "Come with me to the royal chamber."

"Thank you," I said. "For everything."

The demon king nods and leads me through the corridors. We finally arrive at the door leading to the royal chambers.

"What happened?" I asked.

The demon king opens the door and allows me to enter.

I walk inside, and I see that everyone is seated in a circle around the room.

They all looked up at me when the demon king entered through the door behind us.

Demon King said, "your friend is with us. You can meet her after we chat for a while.".

"It's been a long time since we've seen you," said one of them. "We thought you were dead."

"Where is Kia?" I asked. "Is she alright?"

The king points to the throne room.

I walk inside and see Kia sitting with Princess Dracy.

She looks up at me and smiles.

"You didn't do anything to her, right?" I asked. "I thought you had done something."

Kia looks at me and tells me, "I had fun chatting with the princess. She is a very kind person. She said she knew you and you were her classmate."

Dracy shakes her head and says, "Sorry to burrow her without telling you."

The demon king ordered me to sit with him and attend the meeting. Kia insists on attending the meeting with me. She sat with Princess Dracy on the edge of the room.

'Now, I think you don't know who you are or where you came from. You are someone thought to have disappeared.' Said the demon king.

"I don't understand what you are saying."

"Despite many things, you are the son of my brother who was the nominee for king, but was labeled a traitor because of many things. In love with the angel princess, he threw away his right to the throne. He ran away with the princess without anyone noticing. We searched for him, but we could not find any traces of him," said the demon king.

"I had no idea he was such a big shot," I said.

"A servant told him that he would be killed along with the princess. But the king, your grandfather had approved his marriage. We rushed to his room to inform him but he attacked us and ran from the palace," said one of the attendees.

"The servant was interrogated but he didn't tell who it was that ordered him," said another attendee.

"As he breathed his last, he uttered the name of the god of origin, Origen. It is unknown whether he is following the leader of origin or if he is being ordered by him."Said another attendee.

"He is our friend. We searched for him for a long time but couldn't find him. Apparently all traces of him have been removed and a report said that the angel princess had also disappeared. Your father's power was very strong. He was powerful enough to overpower the god of origin and the princess had the same level of angel power as your father. The pendant you are wearing is the key that unlocks your powers and keeps you in control. If you use your power without it, you might turn berserk or you will die and there is no one who can rival what is sealed within you. You will be a normal human when you are not wearing your pendant," said another attendee.

"Friend?" I asked.

"Yes, they are the friends of your father. They have been friends since school year and the head minister is your father's best friend." Said the demon king.

"My present parents told me that I had pendents on my hand after I was left outside their door." I replied.

"I am glad to hear that nothing has happened to you. If you are planning to find out about your parents you can take someone with you for help. I would like to join you, but I can't do it because I am the king." Said the Demon King.

The meeting ended and I talked with the ministers for a short while and walked out of the room.
