Chapter 30: Narrow escape

When the Humongous beast came to his location and stopped, Blade's heart almost flew out of his chest. He could hear his heart pounding and his nose could pick the foul stench emanating from the Beetle.

The beetle moved closer to Blade and could feel the smell of a human as it drew closer. It became certain that there was definitely a human hiding in these loose rocks meanwhile Blade who was behind these rocks was breathing as shallow as possible but it seemed this huge insect was determined to eat him for lunch.
