Chapter 19 The Irony

A loud howl is heard under the moonlight, a cold breeze kisses her cheeks; she even smells urine and human poop. The mistress of Mr. Richardson is being tied down in a chair, blindfolded with a tape on her mouth. She wanted to scream so loud but she couldn't. The sweat forms on her forehead and she breathes through her nose.

A calloused hand caressed her cheeks and slapped it. The intensity of the slap made her head go sideways. A tear fell on her eyes as if begging for her life, she didn't imagine herself being tortured by this. She thought being a lover of one of the businessmen in La Paz would make her lie comfortable.

“Stop! Please!” she pleaded but they didn’t hear her fallen voice.

She received another slap, her hair is being pulled by a man and his heavy breaths is near on the woman’s ear. The woman heard a baritone voice and she trembled when she realized that she got threatened by an unknown man.

“It’s past 11:30,” another man’s voice is heard, the woman’s heart is still
