After discussing a few more issues with his brother, Memphis slowly said:

"After dinner, instruct Michal Reilly and Jaden McNeil to urge all survivors, the supply gathering team, and the fortifications team to start digging immediately. Tell Lionel to bring over some battery-powered lights; we’ll be working through the night."

Jarred responded gravely: “Only by working through the night do we have a chance of winning against them…"

Jarred then hesitated before asking: “Big brother, why don't we just use fire to make things easier?"

Memphis replied calmly: “Fire is effective, but who will put it out? This urban area is densely packed with buildings. Do you plan on burning down both our army and theirs? Moreover, zombies can endure fire much better than humans. Unless it's a last resort, we won’t use fire recklessly."
