Chapter 34: The Pain Grows More Intense.

Jarred let out a fierce laugh, using the advantage of having one more hand than his opponent. He transformed his free hand into a blade and struck down hard on the monster's head with a sharp thud.

"Ha..."

The blade cut halfway through P1's skull but couldn't go any further. The monster let out a pained roar, the injury not enough to kill it. It swung its fist forward.

Without hesitation, Jarred met its punch with his own. Repeatedly, the sound of their fists clashing echoed in the air. Jarred held P1's head firmly with one hand, continuously punching it with the other. After twenty or so punches, P1's remaining arm hung limp and broken.

Without pausing, Jarred delivered three more consecutive punches to its head, shattering P1's skull.

It was dead.

Jarred, covered in a yellowish glow, slowly retreated as his body began to shrink, smoke rising from his skin. His face contorted with pain, and he groaned,

"Oh, it hurts so much."

He slumped to the ground, clutching his arm, his skin show
