Numerous blood-red energy shields quivered intensely, and cracks began appearing on the Light Armor and zombie bodies. Some of the Speed Type zombies, whose defenses were inherently weaker, showed signs of breaking.

Yet the zombies didn't give up; many of them charged into the area, taking turns bearing the brunt of the explosion. The immense energy from the thermobaric explosion caused by the PG-9V shell was dispersed into smaller portions, spreading across countless zombies below.

A few seconds passed, the dust and flames dissipated in the wind, and in the central area, not a single zombie had perished. Even the injuries were scattered and minor. With their incredible regenerative abilities, these wounds would soon heal, rendering them negligible.
