Chapter 54: Resource Competition.

Gemma saw Memphis and Amanda standing at the door and hesitated for a moment, but she didn't seem too surprised. She gently stepped closer with a faint smile:

"Memphis, I have something to discuss with you."

Memphis swallowed hard, looking at her, thinking to himself that he had made a mistake. Gemma's figure was not inferior to Amanda's; in fact, she had a unique and incredibly special charm.

If Amanda was a blooming rose that made people want to trample and torment, then Gemma was a budding rose that made men want to cherish and explore. Both were rare beauties that Memphis could never have touched before the apocalypse.

He let out an awkward laugh and asked:

"Oh, what is it?"

Before Gemma could respond, Amanda coldly said:

"Gemma, you seem a bit rude. Memphis and I have some private matters to discuss first. If you want to talk, wait until tomorrow morning."

Gemma was not weak and replied:

"Really? I had an appointment with Memphis beforehand."
