Chapter 3: Into The Zombie Game.

Alva doesn't know much about games right now. Because he didn't care much when the game was the most advanced, he wasn't lacking anything at the time: loving parents and a good family. There's no need to go into cyberspace to solve anything, but now it is different because he has to prepare for the future.

Alva stopped in front of the sword training ground, opened the door, entered the training ground, and saw some people stabbing dolls and others sitting in the conversation yard. Alva warms up a little body, takes a handy sword from the training ground, and starts training.

At the end of the world, there are two types of skill acquisition: one type is self-training, maybe from some NPCs or can come up with a technique from which you can get recognition games, and the other way through killing monsters with a significant reward rate that falls out of the books.

The way one seems to be very difficult. Most people don't use this method. Try asking who wants to get into the game to work hard to train. Now, people haven't seen the benefits yet. But at the time of the game's landing, the game will determine the skills the player can use, at which point the importance of new training is revealed.

The second way most people will do it is because, at the moment, the drop rate of skill books is not very high, but the new skill book drop bonus shooting also happens a lot. But when the skill book landing game becomes a pretty rare item, the unique feature is that it's possible for all professions, but the drop rate when the round landed was meager at the time.

Take Alva James, even if he was the last person alive in the world after the first round. Not many monsters died in his hands, but the number of times he'd lost his skill book was not many. It can be said that if he wishes to have good use skills, he still has to find his way. It's easier to learn by himself than to rely on his own.

So why didn't Alva James spend time in the game early to learn more skills? The skill must also be able to perform. A person with a very high talent but not a corresponding body substance to compete with that skill is no different from waste. Although Alva has some memories due to the loss of return, some skills are often used, and Alva still has a firm grasp. What he needs to do now is to adapt his body a little bit and review his long-forgotten skills.

With the sword, he walks toward the empty straw mane. Alva starts with simple exercises, draw a sword, stab left, stab right... Memories of skills slowly remind him of skills he had mastered before.

[Ding...]

[Player has achieved "base-finding method"]

[Base earning method - LV1 (Dynamic Skills)]

Characteristic: When using swords, the player kills 5 percent more.

"That's a good start."

Alva James continued to repeat the movements. A reminder sound was heard in the process, but he also ignored it. In the distance, a middle-aged man was standing with his arms folded to look at him, and the man was quite tall and muscular. The man strolled toward Alva.

"Your foundation is not wrong. Are you interested in learning my sword method?"

Alva James looked up at the man. In my head, this is the training ground, and this man could be one of the instructors here.

"I'd be honored, sir."

The man nodded as if he were judging Alva James. He seems pretty pleased with his answer.

"I'm a guide in Ballin Town, and my name is Steve."

Alva James also responded with a polite voice.

"I'm the new player, and I'm the Devil."

Steve was pretty dumb and was also quite surprised by Alva's name. He was looking at him with a slightly hidden look. Then nodding, the NPC in the apocalypse is not digital. They also have their thoughts, but there seem to be some limitations. At the same time, when the apocalypse game began to come true, these NPCs also appeared in several important places, or basically, all appeared, but Alva could not meet them.

"The name isn't wrong, and it's very thoughtful. To learn skills not everyone can learn. I see you're very gifted, a good kindergarten. I give you a task that you accept."

[Start training mission: Show me your ability]

Class difficulty: LV. 3

The task is brief: Steve, a mentor with many years of swordplay who has seen your talent, fulfills his expectations.

News mission: Get out of the city, and destroy 20 zombies.

Term task: 1 day (details: Task completed before a term will be able to receive an additional bonus.)

Punishment mission: Steve is disappointed. Steve won't care about you from now on.

...

Alva James didn't overthink and agreed to the mission, and killing zombies wasn't that difficult for him.

"I will finish the task as soon as possible."

Steve thought for a moment and took a sword from space, took it from a distance, and gave it to Alva James.

"I lend you this sword. The one you hold in your hand doesn't seem appropriate."

A sword isn't too good, but it's much better than the sword Alva James is holding.

"Thank you, sir. I will complete my mission and return your sword."

[harvesting Kusanagi Sword (temporary)]

Kusanagi Sword (white - rare)

Type: Equipment

Durability: 32/32 (Resistance will decrease during use)

Attack: 5-12 (Based on calculated injury position)

It is equipped with demand: 3-point energy available. Under 3 points of use will limit the speed and level of attack.

Attribute: When the player holds the sword, it reduces the ability to be affected by mentally disadvantaged states.

Details: Your sword trained Steve to use when he was an apprentice swordsman.

Review: 10 (details: White equipment assesses from 1-10 points)

Considering the information on the sword, Alva James feels that this sword is suitable for him. With this sword, Alva ran towards the stronghold's gate to go east of the fort. There's a little zombie apocalypse here.

Hiding behind a bush, Alva takes a stone from far away and throws it at the nearest zombie. Since we're in the game, zombies haven't evolved yet. It's not hard to lure zombies.

After estimating the location needed to destroy the zombies, Alva clasped the sword, recalling a sword he had used many times before.

"Wallace Sword"

[player achieved "Wallace Sword"]

Wallace Sword - LV One.

Conditional use: Sword-type weapons, each using 2 MP points, MP is one percent less automatically closed.

Practical skill: sword players accelerate the speed of sword use by 10 percent and have a low rate of target armor breaking.

[player who kills zombies (ordinary) ]

[player gets a crystal shard]

[player killed Zombie 1/20]

He eats crystalline debris, an energy spilling into his body. Alva James estimates he may need to kill five more zombies before getting to the level. Having a good start, Alva continues seeking the following goals to accomplish the task soon.

Alva stays in the suburbs for two more hours to kill Zombies, he can kill Zombies quickly, but every time he uses his moves, he consumes part of his body energy. Most of the time, he spent recovering his lost physical strength.

[Player who kills zombies (usually)]

[Player gets a crystal shard]

[Player killed Zombie 20/20]

At the same time, Alva James checks his status table a little bit.

[Personal Status Table]

Player name: Devil.

Class: 3

HP: 100%

MP: 4/25

Power: 5

Agile: 5

Physical strength: 5

Intellectual: 5

Attractive: 1

Weapon: Kusanagi Sword (temporary)

Free score: 3

At the same time, while killing Zombies, Alva James won a grand prize for a device and a skill book.

[Blacksmith's old shoes (white)]

Type: Equipment

Durability: 12/15

Equip demand: 2-point power available. Below are two power points that limit travel speed.

Properties: when carrying equipment, increase agility by 1 point while reducing fatigue during movement.

Details: The blacksmith's old shoe has been attached to him for years.

Review: 2 (details: White equipment evaluates from 1-10 points)

[ Skillbook: Alcoholic Acid]

Equipment required: 5 intellectual points can be learned.

Properties: You can start to learn how to grow alcohol

Details: The book records someone's brewing method, and he quite appreciates this book.

At the world's end, the big reward that falls to the equipment is mainly up to the main character. And he can't kill a fish, but a big tip falls off a pair of wings. Alva James's luck is usual, and the shoes are still available. Looking at the Alva skill book only at a glance, however, no one is interested in the world of demand to survive and incubate alcohol.

Alva's back in town to pay for Steve's job. He hasn't been on the job for long. The faster he gets back, the more likely he will receive a higher reward.

Back to the training ground, no Steve training ground. After questioning some people, Alva found out Steve had gone home. It's a small wooden house, which looks quite warm. Alva came knocking on the door:

"I'm here to give you your job, Steve."

Right now, Steve's making dinner. When he saw Alva James coming, he seemed a little surprised:

"It seems this task is too easy for you, good young man."

[You've accomplished the task: Show me your ability]

"It's already evening, young man. You can stay here to eat with me."

The sound of the game system reverberated:

[Steve acknowledged you, Steve's level of intimacy has increased to 20 (friendliness)]

Alva James was not hungry, but being close to the guidance NPC was not bad, so he decided to stay to eat with Steve.

"A pleasure, sir."

After dinner together, Alva got to know Steve better. He was a swordsman in the country's royal cavalry but later retired. He doesn't seem to want to talk about it much, maybe because the intimacy level is still pretty low.

"you passed my projection, maybe I gave you this skill, but you did an excellent job. I'll give you two options."

[Mission changes]

[You have two choices]

[Option 1: Accept Steve's training to acquire skills]

[Option 2: Steve recognizes your potential and decides to put more tasks to test you]

Choice 1 is good, but for Alva James, learning a new skill doesn't affect them much. He is curious about what can be achieved if he continues to perform the next task.

"Thank you, sir. I'm ready to take your next challenge."

Just as Alva expected to choose the challenge, Steve did not seem surprised:

"The next challenge will be much harder than this one this time."

[Start training mission: Show me your ability (next)]

Class difficulty: LV. 10

Summary task: Steve feels like he's still underestimating you. He gave a more difficult task to consider your potential.

News mission: Get out of the city, and kill 100 zombies.

Termination task: 8 hours (details: Mission completed before a term will be able to receive additional bonus)

Punishment mission: Steve is disappointed, and his level of friendliness will decrease slightly.
