Siphex murmured as he hacked open the headless body and consumed its heart, "and that would be the 74th."

As Siphex progressed deeper into the zone 6 tunnels, he encountered additional mobs that were similar to bacats but slightly different and also higher leveled; after killing all of the zone 6 mobs, Siphex was rather happy with the number of souls they yielded. Getting to level 18 and halfway to 19

Now that he had covered all of the tunnels in Zone 6, he was approaching the deepest area of the zone. Siphex was standing in front of a broken-down gate, which he then stepped through, skipping the fallen debris and greeting him in a larger space, something that wasn't a tunnel for once.
When he entered the large room, he noticed that it had many gleaming crystals on its roof and a massive hole through which several rays of light pierced, lighting down in the midst of the gloomy area.
There was a stone hexagonal platform with spiral engravings and weird symbols in the middle, where the rays touched the rocky ground.
" This is it, I'm sure of it, and I can't wait to get out of these tunnels," As he approached the stage, Siphex said excitedly.
As he approached the platform, he noticed many skeletons, bone remains, and dried blood scattered across the platform, which were illuminated by the light. As he stepped onto the platform, the engravings and symbols lit up in a hazy purple light, and he felt his body freeze once more.
A phantom voice interrupted him as he was attempting to understand the current scenario.
"You've finally come, and... oh my goodness, what is this? I can't believe it, my challenger this time is an arachnoid, I've only heard of your species before, how magnificent! "As it echoed through the empty tunnels, a voice said.
"Who is it?" siphex inquired as he attempted but failed to move his body.
As an ethereal figure emerged in front of Siphex, the voice stated, "ahh Silly me, we haven't met yet, let me introduce myself."
"I'm Zuliqar, the First Dimension's Guardian, and I work for Lord Zurich. You see, I'm the boss of this tiny maze and the more to come, and you're in my playground now "Zuliqar chuckled as he said this.
Siphex quickly used inspect.
< Name: Zuliqar >
< Race ( wraith: Boss ) >
< Class ( Guardian of the 1st Dimension )>
< Level (40***) >
"Does that mean...?" if you're one of the Guardians. enquired Siphex, concerned...
" Correct, I am one of the Guardians you must vanquish before ascending any higher. Tell me now, how was your first trial, your first taste of blood" Zuliqar remarked as he began flying and circling the petrified Siphex.
"It was simple, now that I've cleared every mob in this maze trial, does it imply we'll fight?" Siphex grumbled as he grew tired of his predicament.
"Oooooow, you're becoming cocky, aren't you?" We've just just begun. Let me tell you, even if you're an Arachnoid, you're still a bug that I can crush with a gaze; don't think that just because I'm only level 40 means you can even touch me; I'm out of your league... ' at least for the time being hehe ' ....
Do you realize how much potential your bloodline possesses?" As his ghostly wraith body swirled about Siphex, he inquired.
"I'm not sure what you mean by potential; all I know is that I'm a beast with slightly higher stats," Siphex responded, pondering what he had worked out after months of hunting.
" A beast? a slightly higher stats? HOW naive yet innocent are you? lol, allow me to extend your horizons a little " while performing a formal bow, Zuliqar continued.
" do you see those stars next to my level? Those stars are there for a reason; they're known as <Cycles of Rebirth>, and the number of them represents how many times you've gone through the cycle. When a being reaches his natural maximum level cap, if they have potential, they can opt to enter the Cycle of Rebirth.
As they return to their level cap, they lose a lot of their present level in exchange for more powers and stats, and three stars means I've done it three times and my power is several times that of even level 70 starless beings, let alone what you thought of me as a level 40. As for why I stopped at 3 stars, it's because as a wraith, that's my limit; I can't go any higher unless lord Zurich Allow me to evolve into something stronger than a wraith. So That brings us to the subject of potential; your race was said to have the potential to even break through the 5th star; I don't know, I haven't seen it, but it's magnificent, isn't it? You realize now how much potential you have in your blood." Zuliqar, who was having a good time lecturing the oblivious noob.
"And how do I do that, since your trial has been so simple so far?" Siphex responded
" Don't get too far ahead of yourself now, tsk tsk tsk, the process isn't easy, but you'll find out as you continue to grow, hahaha " Zuliqar laughed.
" As for fighting me, For now focus on growing stronger, Until you evolve and at least go through your first cycle of Rebirth, then you have a chance facing me." Zuliqar clasped his arms together, causing a shockwave that summoned black mist and then vanished.
"But how do I grow if I've already killed everything in this place?" replied urgently as the room trembled violently.
"You did. I did not expect your fast growth....But don't worry, there are more trials and beasts to keep you busy, but first here's a a little challenge to test someone like you: let me see how you do against a real threat, challenger, try not to die haha ".. As his laughter faded, Zuliqar said.
As the surrounding space distorted and bent, siphex felt numb and light-headed.
* zzzzzzz wizfffffffffffffffffffffff
Siphex felt danger when he found himself in the middle of a dark graveyard and heard a loud savage growl that shook his surroundings. He couldn't figure out where the enemy was because his vision couldn't highlight anything. He took a combat stance and looked around when he heard something step on the ground behind him and turned around in fright.
A tall but skinny humanoid figure on all fours stood in front of Siphex. gleaming red eyes, long claws, and a deadly aura
quickly using inspect, Siphex became stiff at what he saw
(Ghoul: undead: uncommon: level 40*)
'This thing is strong; is this how it feels to face a high-leveled enemy with a single star?' i dont know if Im excited or scared, I have to be careful or I'll get in big trouble.' As the ghoul made the first move, Siphex became concerned.
Rushing right, Siphex dodged and stepped backward as the ghoul claw demolished the ground beneath him.
* Bang*
* Badufffffffffffffffffffff*
*Bang*
After dodging several blows, Despite its incredible strength, Siphex noticed that he was still faster than the ghoul to some extent; he didn't know if it was because he had eight legs, was much smaller, or was just naturally faster; it didn't matter because he was glad that he could at least keep up and dodge the ghoul's attacks because he couldn't afford to take a hit.
'One hit and I'm dead,' siphex thought as he jumped and avoided another claw swipe that smashed a tombstone in its path.
* budufffffffffffffffffffffffffff
* Holy fuck*
*Growwwwwl*
'Venomous claw is no longer useful because undead are immune to poison, but I can try this,' said Siphex as he kept a safe distance and tried lesser nightmare.
< target is too powerful for this skill >
" There goes my active skills.... So you want me to stab you to death?" siphex muttered angrily.
* baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang *
Dodging another destructive attack, Siphex leaped and slashed at the ghoul's leg with all his strength, leaving a tiny but noticeable cut
'I need more strength,' he said, having spent all of his pending points on strength.

Going after the ghoul again, dodging and waiting for an opening. Siphex rushed and slid behind the Ghoul as he spun and slashed again, leaving a slightly bigger cut.
"Well, now, we could take all day, bad for you, I don't get tired easily," Siphex said confidently as they both rushed at each other.
The smoke of a fire can be seen next to a big boulder in the dead of night, amid a wasteland filled with dried grass and decaying trees, with two individuals sitting on top of the boulder clutching longbows, peering around as they kept watch. while four others sat in front of the campfire. *tk* *wood is engulfed with flames* *tk* "We've been here for 5 days and still haven't found what you're searching for," grumbled a middle-aged guy as he tossed a chopped piece of wood into the fire. He was dressed in golden armor with tree-like patterns and four daggers strapped to his back; his blonde hair was neatly done into a ponytail, and he had a big scar over his nose and serious green eyes that reflected the campfire, it was clear that this man had been through many battles. "Patience is key. General Alric, we're getting closer every day; I estimate it's about 2 days east of here, and we should be there without any issues "The wrinkles o
" I'm dead, I'm dead," Siphex exclaimed in terror as he saw the ghoul soar into the air, fists clinched together, attempting to reduce him into flesh paste. Siphex heard a notification in the final moments as the silhouette of the leaping ghoul reflected in his eyes, but he didn't pay attention as he closed his eyes waiting for the upcoming agonizing death. *GROOOOOOOOWL* arriving at the last possible moment Zuliqar smirked as he raised a bubble-like barrier and flashed his fingers, attempting to command the Ghoul to halt before it touched Siphex. *Stab* Stab* Stab* *splatterer* It all happened in the blink of an eye. On the ground, he was surrounded by a plethora of large plants and flora that took on bizarre shapes and colors. He was thinking about the rewards and evolution quest as he was satisfied with the ridiculous number of souls obtained from the ghoul's heart. " I can't believe it, I literally just got over 124 thousand souls by consuming that heart... whatever that power I summoned is, it's very powerful, I should find more abou..." His thoughts were disrupted when he noticed something emerging from a nearby tree trunk. whatever the hell this thing was Siphex sensed its potency

*jump* *jump* A silhouette of someone can be seen running and leaping from one tree to another in a forest where giant trees and plants are clustered together. "I'm a light and fast boiii." Siphex was astounded by his new body upgrade as he landed from a great height with no injuries. He felt a lot lighter and faster. "I'm not sure if this body is just this strong. Or maybe it's just that my stats are all maxed out. In any case, i was disappointed at first but now, I'm grateful to whoever provided me with all of the stats. This is so good." He said this while looking at his metallic sharp hand and then at a tree in front of him. "60 strength, I wonder if..." Siphex said as he dashed at the tree and punched it with all his might.
As he got closer, he was greeted by the sight of a camp in a shady clearing adjacent to a river. "Is this a camp, and is there anyone else here? I can't believe it; I thought I was the only one "Siphex said as he took a cautious step into the clearing toward the camp. " Hello, anyone here?" said Siphex as he looked around and surveyed the camp. A tattered tent, the remains of a fire, and several leathers hung on a rope next to the tent were all there. Right next to the tent was a tree with a ladder leading to a small shack on top that resembled a watchtower, with a weapon holster filled with wooden sticks and a steel apear, which Siphex assumed was what reflected the sunlight from afar. The camp was empty but had recently been used. As he searched around for the presence, he noticed it was a little further ahead. As
The sun was high in the sky, sending rays through the clouds. In the quiet wasteland, many rocky boulders were strewn about. a group of people were walking faster together, glancing around as if they were being cautious. They haven't gotten any sleep in two days. The sage and the squad of 6, consisting of two archers, muck, El'minor, Alric, and the sage, began pursuing the source of energy the next day after resting at the previous campfire. They were unexpectedly ambushed and attacked by high-tier inflicted. And the closer they approached to the source, the more they sensed its intensity, and the more they were assailed by more and more inflicted As he looked about at everyone, the sage remarked, " It's here, the source is right around that hill, i suggest Before going in and approaching the source, we need to find somewhere safe to rest. As he sat and sought refuge under one of the boulders shades. " be careful, there should be some in
"EVERYONE ,GET OUT OF HERE QUICKLY" As he produced a magical dome just in time, the sage shouted. *Bang* A powerful Aura attack slammed into the dome barrier, generating a massive explosion that was too rapid for others to perceive. It's fortunate that the sage recognized it in time. " Everyone swiftly assemble around me, we are aborting the mission right now," the sage shouted as everyone began retreating gently toward the sage while keeping an eye on the inflicted around them. "Sage? What exactly is this? I'm feeling it right now, too; if it's who we think it is, we can't afford to confront them right now. Muck, go grab Dean. We have to escape as far as we can immediately, so El'minor and the Marksmen will try to block the inflicted from approaching us." What they swiftly gathered around the sage who was attempting to keep the Dome
"I'm tired of going through all of these gates and corridors, as well as all of these markings and dents; there has to be something behind this gate; it won't hurt to try," Siphex reasoned as he dug deeper into the wall. Siphex considered using the pickaxe at first, but it snapped in half after a few strokes due to its rustiness. Using his claws and fists to continue digging through the wall, he eventually managed to build a hole the size of a little ball, which could only fit his arm. "These Walls appear to be harder than they appear; what are they built of?" "This isn't an ordinary stone," Siphex grumbled as he peered through the hole to peer behind the wall. "Woahh, there are so many various items strewn about? Who closed the gate in the first place? Isn't there supposed to be a lever or something nearby?" Siphex could see several gold nuggets and mana stones, as well as other things, scattered on the ground, but he could also see that the chamber on the other side was much larg
in front of his eyes, a big boulder covered in plants and cracks in the distance that looked like the letter L loomed tall between the dense woods up ahead.As he closed the map and jumped down from the tree, Siphex thought, "Now it makes sense."Walking toward the unusual enormous rock, Siphex had to pass through tall shrubs and plants till he reached it; the strange stone was resting on the mountain, and next to it was a trace of faded stone floor with broken stairs leading toward the mountain. A large square stone wall with a massive locked rusted gate that was covered in mud and foliage awaited him at the end.Walking up the stairwell and approaching the rusted gate, Siphex noticed that, despite its rusted and worn appearance, the gate had been opened numerous times recently. as He could see a variety of footsteps dispersed across the stony, fractured ground." This must be the maze's entrance, but strangely, it appears that people arrive here as well; were they sent by the alchem
* splash" woahhh, I can't get enough of this taste, so few souls yet glad it helps with hunger," mused Siphex as he ate a small fox-like animal body while crouching next to a fallen tree trunk in the midst of the woods; after a while, he rose up and looked about.It was a quiet day, as the sun slipped through the many trees that covered the forest floor, and all Siphex could see in his surroundings were trees, trees, trees." I guess it should be that way, hope I'm on the right track," Siphex said as he shook and wiped his bloodied hands on a nearby tree trunk before pulling out the map the alchemist had given him and opening it."Let's see, it's just next to the river north of the mountain," sphiex grumbled as he studied the map, then he looked to his right and saw a mountain, "that's the mountain, so it should be that way," he determined as he stared in a certain direction, then he put the map aside and continued walking.It had been few days since he had left town, and he was read

A temperate big camp can be seen placed along the shoreline, encircled by many defenses and with hunderds of soliders, campfires, and tents under the silent curtain of night, just outside adjacent to the nourthern shores of Gran Mundora. "Just as his grace had expected, the s ranked adventurers have sent their report from scouting the eastern part of the continent; you know, it's been a month since they were sent to scout the dark continent, and no one expected that they would be attacked by a group of strange humanoid type monsters at some point during their scouting." "As they struggled with the monsters, their scouting progress was significantly hindered, as the creatures have shown to be rather difficult to deal with. Siphex was hidden in an alley behind the line of stores as he exited the book store through the window. 'I can't believe that worked, they really went behind that decoy thinking it was me,' Siphex thought, his senses heightened as he checked his surroundings to ensure all was well.As soon as he was free of the stalkers, he quietly returned to the street and proceeded on his way to the alchemist.'How much further do I have to walk to get there?' Siphex, on the other hand, had been going into the same direction for quite some time. After a while, the road came to an end as he was greeted by a small clearing in a garden, with a few buildings facing the garden on all sides, one of which was a mid-sized building made of wood and stones, but there was something odd about it as a large tree was piercing through its roof, and it was also covered with plants and vegetations.'I guess the baron wasn't lying when he claimed i wouldn't miss it,' siphex thought as he reached the clearing and app
"my kind? By that do you mean a challenger??" As he raised his brows, Siphex said." Oh no no, I already knew you were a challenger, but that wasn't my point, I meant your race," chuckled the baron as he slid a mug of wine in front of Siphex.'So he found out that Iam a monster, is this an ambush, is that why he requested me to follow him here?' siphex thought as he heard the man mention that he knows about his race and looked at the man pooring a cup of wine for himself. 'Was it these two, or was it someone else?' Siphex, on the other hand, cast a quick glance behind him at the two guys on the table and prepared to defend himself and flee at any minute." You seem disturbed, but don't worry, iam not your enemy. that's why I wanted to speak with you alone, dark elf," the man remarked as he smiled at Siphex before taking a sip of wine.'Wait, what?' So he mistook me for a dark elf, rather than a monster? 'How did he come up with that assumption?' Siphex was perplexed, but his gaze rema
Siphex rose up from the table and decided to leave the inn, thinking, 'I'm hoping the drake's horns would bring me enough mana stones.'As soon as Siphex had made up his mind about going to the alchemist, he stood up and walked away from the table, heading for the exit. However, as he walked between the tables toward the exit of the inn, he remembered the two suspicious guys from earlier and cast a glance in their direction while he was walking, but they were not there, since their table was empty.'Did they leave as well....eh?' Siphex's thoughts were interrupted, though. He acidently pumped into one of the servers who was holding a tray of beverages, forcing her to slip and drop the drinks on a nearby table crowded with individuals, as he was not paying attention." Ahhh," shouted the waitress as she leapt to her feet and apologized profusely to the guests at the table as she began to wipe up the spilt beverages.'Sh*t, forgot this place is too packed,' siphex mused as he shifted hi
