*fzzzzzzzzz*

"Ouch," Siphex exclaimed as he fell from the portal and collided with a tree.
getting up and taking a look around It was daytime. he was surrounded by massive trees with thick and tall trunks, so tall that few of them pierced through the clouds. On the ground, he was surrounded by a plethora of large plants and flora that took on bizarre shapes and colors.
He was thinking about the rewards and evolution quest as he was satisfied with the ridiculous number of souls obtained from the ghoul's heart.
" I can't believe it, I literally just got over 124 thousand souls by consuming that heart... whatever that power I summoned is, it's very powerful, I should find more abou..." His thoughts were disrupted when he noticed something emerging from a nearby tree trunk. whatever the hell this thing was Siphex sensed its potency because his instincts screamed danger.
Siphex took several steps back, worried as he prepared to flee at any moment; he knew he couldn't afford to face such an enemy at his best, let alone after being badly injured in the previous fight.
A tall Humanoid creature stood 3 meters tall, made of tree-like bark and trunks that were curled and spiraled together. As the creature faced Siphex, he noticed that it had no face, only a hollow frame with multiple wooden spikes like horns, long fingers that almost touched the ground, long legs, and green shimmering fog replacing where his heart and organs should have been.

using inspect, the creature turned out to be another Guardian, only much stronger and scarier than the wraith. Siphex was aware that it wouldn't harm him, but he remained cautious.
"I welcome you to my trial, Siphex the arachnoid.
You've demonstrated that you're physically strong and ready to at least withstand whatever hazards await you in my challenge by completing the last trial, but do you have the mental fortitude to back up your abilities? Only those with sufficient willpower are capable of completing the riddle and dispelling the illusion "explained the creature, gesturing with one of its hands, in a fading voice. forcing one of the surrounding trunks to spring to life and slither its way toward where Siphex stood, presenting him with a wooden Amulet hung on its tip
"Only with this will you be able to see what is hidden, but be warned. What can help you can also kill you "As his body burst in a pinkish smoke cloud, the Guardian stated. His 3-meter-tall frame was transformed into a swarm of butterflies that flew around and disappeared into the sky.
Siphex examined the wooden Amulet in his hands, which was a hexagonal-shaped piece of wood with a symbol of an eye inside a flower.
Despite its unassuming appearance, Siphex noted that it was rather hefty, which prompted him to utilize inspect.

When he checked his status, he discovered that his level had reached 20. because there were new ways to evolve and choose classes
'I believe my level won't grow much higher until I go through an evolution first, and my class should dictate my fighting style, skills, and how each stat affects me,' siphex reasoned as his gaze fell on the amount of souls once more. 'I'm pleased I didn't lose my brimming souls; they should be plenty to give me a boost until I develop; I'm sure I'll run into more adversaries as powerful as that ghoul'.
He was presented with the following racial evolution option as he went through the evolution option.
< Race Evolution is available>
( your fragile body has reached its maximum capability, you are ready to take the next form and unlock more power sealed in your ancient bloodline. your body will be destroyed and rebuilt in the process )

" Well. Here goes nothing.. Evolve " Siphex murmured as he collapsed to the ground, losing all of his perceptions and all connections to his physical body.

Unbeknownst to Siphex, something weird began to happen minutes after his body began to evolve. The liquid substance that had previously formed around his body and spread into the ground reappeared, draining the life power from the environment like a ravenous vacuum. Everything around Siphex is withering and turning to ash, and it's expanding with each passing minute

A while later...
In the midst of a lush green forest with towering trees, long grass, and vibrant flora. There was a large open area filled with withered plants, dead dirt, and ash that didn't appear to fit in its surroundings.
A body that seemed almost human, but wasn't, lay in the middle of it. Short shabby white hair with two small black spikes starting from directly above its eyes and curling upward like uni mask, black metallic exoskeleton instead of skin that seemed like tight-fitting light armor, human-like face features,
Siphex's purple eyes blazed with vitality as he opened his eyes and reflected the daylight.
As his body felt weightless, he realized he could finally move. 'Why does my body feel so different from before, yet so....familiar?' Siphex wondered as he looked down at his body.
"Yooooo, two legs, hands, oh my goodness, I have FINGERS," Siphex said, wriggling his razor pointy fingers and giving a random rock the middle finger for no apparent reason. "Take that, yaaaaaaaaaa...woohoo."
" Ehhh what ?. the Motherland of the Dead....
Wasn't it a forest before I went through evolution??" Siphex gazed around, perplexed, as the once lush woodland had devolved into a barren wasteland of ash and pebbles.
" Right, evolution," he said immediately, recalling that he had gone through an evolution

*jump* *jump* A silhouette of someone can be seen running and leaping from one tree to another in a forest where giant trees and plants are clustered together. "I'm a light and fast boiii." Siphex was astounded by his new body upgrade as he landed from a great height with no injuries. He felt a lot lighter and faster. "I'm not sure if this body is just this strong. Or maybe it's just that my stats are all maxed out. In any case, i was disappointed at first but now, I'm grateful to whoever provided me with all of the stats. This is so good." He said this while looking at his metallic sharp hand and then at a tree in front of him. "60 strength, I wonder if..." Siphex said as he dashed at the tree and punched it with all his might.
As he got closer, he was greeted by the sight of a camp in a shady clearing adjacent to a river. "Is this a camp, and is there anyone else here? I can't believe it; I thought I was the only one "Siphex said as he took a cautious step into the clearing toward the camp. " Hello, anyone here?" said Siphex as he looked around and surveyed the camp. A tattered tent, the remains of a fire, and several leathers hung on a rope next to the tent were all there. Right next to the tent was a tree with a ladder leading to a small shack on top that resembled a watchtower, with a weapon holster filled with wooden sticks and a steel apear, which Siphex assumed was what reflected the sunlight from afar. The camp was empty but had recently been used. As he searched around for the presence, he noticed it was a little further ahead. As
The sun was high in the sky, sending rays through the clouds. In the quiet wasteland, many rocky boulders were strewn about. a group of people were walking faster together, glancing around as if they were being cautious. They haven't gotten any sleep in two days. The sage and the squad of 6, consisting of two archers, muck, El'minor, Alric, and the sage, began pursuing the source of energy the next day after resting at the previous campfire. They were unexpectedly ambushed and attacked by high-tier inflicted. And the closer they approached to the source, the more they sensed its intensity, and the more they were assailed by more and more inflicted As he looked about at everyone, the sage remarked, " It's here, the source is right around that hill, i suggest Before going in and approaching the source, we need to find somewhere safe to rest. As he sat and sought refuge under one of the boulders shades. " be careful, there should be some in
"EVERYONE ,GET OUT OF HERE QUICKLY" As he produced a magical dome just in time, the sage shouted. *Bang* A powerful Aura attack slammed into the dome barrier, generating a massive explosion that was too rapid for others to perceive. It's fortunate that the sage recognized it in time. " Everyone swiftly assemble around me, we are aborting the mission right now," the sage shouted as everyone began retreating gently toward the sage while keeping an eye on the inflicted around them. "Sage? What exactly is this? I'm feeling it right now, too; if it's who we think it is, we can't afford to confront them right now. Muck, go grab Dean. We have to escape as far as we can immediately, so El'minor and the Marksmen will try to block the inflicted from approaching us." What they swiftly gathered around the sage who was attempting to keep the Dome
it's been a long while Since Siphex and Toruk left the camp walking. Siphex was delighted that for once he had someone with him who could aid him with his boredom as they passed through the same quiet forest. " So, you're toruk, right?" "Would you mind telling me more about how you ended yourself here?" As he walked behind Toruk, staring at the trees, Siphex inquired. " I've already told you, demon, about the mor en. I was a mercenary who ended up here by accident. Toruk answered, "I don't understand why a demon would care about my past," as he continued trudging through the bushes, occasionally using his battleaxe to clear the route. " As you can see, I've lost part of my memories, so I'm wondering as to how you came to be here. "And why are you and others as you claimed are so eager to complete this trial?" siphex enquired This is the first time when Siphex ask
"Finally," Siphex declared emphatically as he took a battle position. With maximum determination, he clasped his long sharp claws together. as a result of this a few magical sparks appearSiphex was ready for whatever came his way as his excitement grew, as he had previously witnessed the power of his maxed-out stats. As the first wave of 'ghosts' arrived, Siphex stated, " Here we go." Arrived in sight"Stupid orcs, these aren't ghosts," Siphex muttered as he charged at the approaching enemies. They appeared to be dark balloon-like monsters with two clawed hands as he looked at them. Siphex figured out why Toruk thought they were ghosts as their figure floated on the ground.'Couldn't turok have just inspected them? 'How can I see their information here when I can't see his outside?' Siphex pondered as he examined his strange-looking enemies.&n
* boom *" Arghhhhhhh," Alric yelled as he swung his bladed star with ferocity. It began to whirl, becoming a tornado that flew straight at the dark elf.The dark elf sprinted to the side and slashed at the impending attack, but it was detonated with a powerful force before he could make a distance, throwing the dark elf backwards and slamming into the sand dune.Except for a few burn marks, scratches, and blood trailing down his lips, the dark elf appeared undamaged." Elzodaneh berha' Ono reh, I appreciate your courage, elf, but..." The dark elf stated, "I believe the battle is already over." Taking a look at Alric's injuries his expression formed a smirk.Panting and huffing Alric stood there bruised and battered, most of his entire upper torso covered in black charred skin that sizzled as blood dripped from his wounds.
