"I don't care what it takes; I'm getting her today," Olive suddenly growled under his breath, his eyes glowing crimson red, as he drove into Rex City.

With no concern for his own life or death, he pressed hard on the pedals, his destination being Olivia's house.

Suddenly, the ringing of a cell phone interrupted him, but Olive's first instinct was to ignore the call or even hurl the phone out the window in frustration. However, he managed to calm himself and picked up the cell phone from its holder in the car.

The moment he saw the caller ID, however, he panicked and quickly thanked his lucky stars for not following his initial instinct.
