Chapter 165 - Rebecca’s Fear

“What… what did you just say?” Rebecca trembled all over, hearing what Mason just said.

“Did… did you just say my… my grandfather is going to lose his life in the next minute?” She swallowed hard.

Mason’s eyes squinted upon hearing Rebecca’s question, then he pondered for a second before nodding his head. “Well, technically yes even though that wasn’t how I said it.”

“This…” Rebecca did not even notice the playfulness laced in Mason’s voice at all.

She stared blankly and wasn’t able to react for a second before she trembled again and then lost all strength she had left.

She slumped down and became utterly weak.

Although she has always been a rebellious lady who loves doing only the things she wants, she had never wished or imagined even in her darkest fantasies to lose her grandfather who dotes on her the most in the world.

“There is still a way for him to stay alive though,” Mason abruptly said just as Rebecca was going to lose every single hope.
