I couldn't see anything but the flashing light. I squinted my eyes until my vision finally adjusted and at the same time wondering where we were. I saw white soil littered on my forearm- it was sand. I had a clearer view once the light had finally zoomed out unto the sun. It seemed like we landed on what appeared to be a beach. "Lenard?" I followed the voice from the right. Chloriette was shaking Lenard's body but didn't move an inch. I got up and walked towards them.
"Did you check his pulse?" I asked the moment I reached them.
She nodded quickly. "He still won't budge."
From two feet away, something puffed out from the bottom of the sand, rather . . . it was someone. "Phle!!Aaaeergghh! Sand, it always has to be sand!" Victor spat sand out of his mouth several times. He took a glance at our unconscious friend and concern immediately took over him. He rushed in beside us. "Lenard!" He called. "What happened?"
"We have no idea." I'm getting a bit worri
"I think that strange sound just saved our butts," I said. "If we're far enough, I can just fly again, take another look, see where Claes and Sean might be." We searched and hide for three hours. I flew up to the sky again and searched around for other places on this large island. Somehow, I could see my friends close to a creepy tree that I saw earlier. "So?" Chloriette asked as I went down. I landed safely with very disappointing news. "Not even a single sign of them." Thinking about giving up, we settled in and took a minute-long rest on a log, watching the creepy tree in front of us. It was eight in the night according to my watch necklace. Luckily when we had time, we built a camp by setting up logs as our benches and collected large leaves as our beds. I grabbed a couple of branches and made a bonfire with my magic. Lenard was wasted, so he slept first before Chloriette could cuddle herself on those giant leaves. I watched the stars above. I mis
"Well, well, well, look who's awake," said the boy in orange clothes. "Another one of those dangerous people. Why are you here?" I guess he's the leader of the group. Like what happened yesterday, our weapons were gone. "Dangerous? We're not dangerous, we're on a quest," I replied. "We mean no harm. You may think that the four of us are threats, but we're not," Lenard added. But the orange boy (I'm gonna call them according to the color of their clothing from now on) yelled, "Silence! Your tricks won't trick us, because we're the only ones who are allowed to do those kinds of tricks. Am I right, boys?" "Yeah!" They said in unison. "Let me ask again, strangers, why are you here?" The orange boy's face came closer to Lenard's. I heard him muttered, "I just got wrecked by a kid." "It's. . . kind of a long story," Chloriette said. "Really?" Asked the orange boy. "We like to hear stories, especially long ones. After that, we'll fall
If you ever thought that arriving in Neverland was exciting (except getting your face planted beneath the sand and got imprisoned), going to a home full of fairies sounded more exciting. Peter Pan didn't inform the lost boys about this. He didn't want to be responsible for them causing trouble in Pixie Hollow- home of the Never fairies! It hasn't changed weirdly, nor did the fairies. Thank the heavens for that. "Let me get this straight," Peter Pan rubbed his chin with his index finger. "You, MaXabiere, have this weird firepower and the ability to fly, am I right?" "You heard me right." I smiled. "Then Chloriette has the power by singing," he said. "Something like that." Chloriette rubbed her arm. "Lenard can understand other words, that's rad," Peter Pan commented. "Trust me, it's really helpful." Lenard nodded. "And Victor is strong, fast, and agile," Peter said. "And can bake cookies," Victor added with pride. <
"I must be honest here, I have no idea what the map says." Lenard yawned from his short sleep. It's four in the morning as I glanced at my watch necklace. Inside the cabin were the four of us staring at the large map on the table. With my fire floating on top of my hand, I could see the icons, lines, and sketches regarding the different lands across the world, but I had to make sure that I wouldn't lose my balance as I do it. I could see Quarte's shape. I learned just now that my homeland was one of the biggest parts of Everlos region until the Devastrigon (or the Triada Katastrefo, I could get used to that too) destroyed half of the northern area. "There it is." Chloriette pointed at a small drawing of an island. "This could be Mt. Impyerno." The island was located at the rear end of the map. In the background way too close to Mt. Impyerno were sea monsters. Most importantly, there were obstacles that we need to go through before heading to the island. Johnwolph als
"Tinker Bell is inside the working room," said the queen. We were marching down the hallway, except for Peter Pan, who was flying and checking the paintings out on the wall. "You know, for fairies who live in a tree, you guys are good at paintings," Peter commented. "Why thank you, we used berries to make those. Anyway, if you are the new Dragonslayer, do you realize that the journey ahead of you will be fatal?" She looked at me with those concern-filled eyes. "Yes, your majesty," I said. "And you're not gonna like it if this dragon somehow reached you, that's why we must stop it." Soon enough, we arrive at a room where textbooks, scrolls, and maps were on top of tables and bookshelves. Rushing and arguing inside the working room was a girl with blonde hair wearing a simple green dress, taking and arranging the books from a boy with black hair wearing a leafy, green sleeveless shirt, and a pair of perfectl
"Thanks for the help, Fawn!" Tinker Bell smiled at her friend. "I'm really glad you helped the new ones out, despite what happened many years when the-" "Tink, chill out, girl! The past is the past blah, blah, blah, and all that jazz. The important thing is they'll make it, so they can beat the acorns out of the Wagon." "Dragon." "Right, dragon! Does that have three heads and big wings? I wish me and the animal fairies can go with you so we could persuade it to not kill everything," Fawn laughed at that. "But, I don't think it's possible for us. . . since it's a monster anyway." A fairy guard landed beside Tink and Fawn. "Whoa, who's that? Another fairy guard?" Victor asked. "I guess so," Chloriette replied. The guard had slick, long black hair with tanned skin. The shape of her deep golden eyes the same as Claes, because . . . you k
Commander Grayson's perspective If you're in a war and you're a good warrior trying to make a strategy, then you probably thought about sneaking into an enemy's base. I prayed for the other warriors to keep their heads up if something went wrong, I prayed to give justice to the souls that have been banished, and I prayed for the protection of my brother, guiding the young warriors, with the new Dragonslayer as their companion, in their journey. Including that weird hippie-with-style guy that my brother made friends with. Well, if we're not splitting up, then I guess we'll civilly visit the general. I didn't know this could happen, I didn't even know that General Jabbernock was here. We haven't killed each other for years. It's crazy. And now, we'll meet again, preparing to strangle each other's necks. Since it's winter, we, unfortunately, needed more cover for our skin. MaXabiere didn't tell me how cold Northern Quarté was. So all of us, except Johnw
Jabbernock gently hovered above the ground as debris surrounded him. Erna and Johnwolph stood beside me as they entered the room. "Wow, doing your job while staring at the window. That's unusual," commented Erna. Raising his arms, the general looked up and finally turned to us. Because of the wind, the only thing we saw was his silhouette and his furious eyes. "Ah, Lady Erna and . . . Johnwolph?" "What? First time to see an old man?" Johnwolph spat, but the general only laughed at the hunter's glare. "Well, you do love inviting people to the party do you, Vortecse? This is funny." "Are we just gonna joke around or what?" I yelled through the noisy storm. At his back, the window tore apart and turned into shattered debris, swirling around the general's body. He rose again until he had full control of the entire roof of the cabin. "Why? Why do you have to ask him that?" E
