Commander Grayson's perspective
"Gray. Gray. Gray. OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! GRAY!" I jolted and leaned back on my seat. I went to sleep again, didn't I? I almost forgot where we were because I was dreaming that I'm in the middle of a spelling bee contest. We're in the Flash warrior battleship together with the other warriors. I remember now, we were heading toward Hymnilyria for further investigation of this mysterious incident- or case rather. "I fell asleep, haven't I?" I groaned and stretched my arms.
"For a commander, you sure sleep a lot." Giuseppe was standing at the door, arms crossed. Leaning his back on the sidewall. "Jalve spotted Hymnilyria behind a small island. Oh, and your girlfriend is waiting for you at the deck. She kept yelling your name."
"Girlfriend?" I squinted, the sun telling me that it was morning. "Wait, why is she here?"
"I know it may sound strange to you, but while we discussed this Dragonslayer problem
"Now remember, loves, be careful. Our safe house is a little bit tight for your size." True, she was the shortest in our group. The cave was not that dark, just a little bit of light would do to see the way. In front of us was a huge, circular wooden door. Pushing it open very, very carefully, Flayflay showed us the survivors of Hymnilyria. The injured elves rested beneath a soft white mat, breathing heavily. The female elves gathered all their ingredients to make medicine while the male elves carry more injured ones to a space. The families tightened the blankets around them while some putting ice on top of their heads. The musicians played relaxing tunes in their instruments to help calm the citizens a little. They may have had an equal amount of medicine, but about their foods and drinks, is there some left? I read their minds, they're all conscious, which was good. Young elves, that were two feet tall, were crying as their elf nurses clean their wounds. All of us, except
"It doesn't make any sense at all." Giuseppe was rubbing his chin with his thumb and index finger. "If the Devastrigon is hiding in Mt. Impyerno, why did it go here and destroy Hymnilyria? And how?" "What do we do now, commander?" Erna asked. I'm currently thinking of a plan. Right now, our top priority was to save all the people as best as we could. "It is up to the boy who will take care of the monster. Right now, we have to face another problem," a voice said. We looked at a top of a tree which was where the voice came from. There stood a hooded man. He's here. "Oh, hey Wolph." I raised my hand in greeting. Johnwolph landed from the tree without a sound. "Even though we haven't seen each other for so long, I still feel the same way." He glared. "I miss you too, Wolph," I said, ignoring the ugly look on his face. "Your brother and the other warriors are heading towards Mt. Impyerno. With the young Dragonslayer on their side, they have to be
The pressure was on once we embarked on a journey. I couldn't help myself but make a to-do list once I survive my first (or could be last) quest.First, I'll go fishing with my family. And probably explore more about Sonata village.Second, Sam and I will camp in the summer area of Southern Quarté (I hope it's not destroyed like what happened to the north).Third, I want to try this recipe called "pizza" with my friends. Rumors were spreading that it was the recipe that they had never tasted before.Fourth, Finding the cure for mom, if Nurse Joy tells us what to do.Fifth, I still need more training from all of these adventures I'd been through.Last but not the least, we'll make a plan as family and friends to rent a place in the kingdom of Ascentilia, I heard that place was huge.I had to save these plans if we could just make it out of here so we could go to another place. And starting my mission
"I need to buy skates." Sean was the first to nervously move across the moving crystals. "Claes, will you remind me to write it down in your notebook?" "Less talking, more walking." Claes put his arms out to keep his balance. "It's like walking on ice." "That's why I need skates," Sean said again. I looked above my shoulder to see Chloriette, Lenard, and Victor also focusing on their balance so they wouldn't fall into the huge gap. It was like walking through an earthquake. My eyes trailed downwards until they landed on the crystals beneath our feet. Behind the transparent surface, all I could see was darkness. It made us look like we're flying towards the portal. We stood before a crystal that doesn't move a single inch. "Okay, here's what we're going to do, the five of us will go to the portal, and you will get the key." Claes looked at me. "And why me, exactly . . . ?" I asked. Then I realized why. "Oh, right . . . I can fly. It'll be easie
I couldn't see anything but the flashing light. I squinted my eyes until my vision finally adjusted and at the same time wondering where we were. I saw white soil littered on my forearm- it was sand. I had a clearer view once the light had finally zoomed out unto the sun. It seemed like we landed on what appeared to be a beach. "Lenard?" I followed the voice from the right. Chloriette was shaking Lenard's body but didn't move an inch. I got up and walked towards them. "Did you check his pulse?" I asked the moment I reached them. She nodded quickly. "He still won't budge." From two feet away, something puffed out from the bottom of the sand, rather . . . it was someone. "Phle!!Aaaeergghh! Sand, it always has to be sand!" Victor spat sand out of his mouth several times. He took a glance at our unconscious friend and concern immediately took over him. He rushed in beside us. "Lenard!" He called. "What happened?" "We have no idea." I'm getting a bit worri
"I think that strange sound just saved our butts," I said. "If we're far enough, I can just fly again, take another look, see where Claes and Sean might be." We searched and hide for three hours. I flew up to the sky again and searched around for other places on this large island. Somehow, I could see my friends close to a creepy tree that I saw earlier. "So?" Chloriette asked as I went down. I landed safely with very disappointing news. "Not even a single sign of them." Thinking about giving up, we settled in and took a minute-long rest on a log, watching the creepy tree in front of us. It was eight in the night according to my watch necklace. Luckily when we had time, we built a camp by setting up logs as our benches and collected large leaves as our beds. I grabbed a couple of branches and made a bonfire with my magic. Lenard was wasted, so he slept first before Chloriette could cuddle herself on those giant leaves. I watched the stars above. I mis
"Well, well, well, look who's awake," said the boy in orange clothes. "Another one of those dangerous people. Why are you here?" I guess he's the leader of the group. Like what happened yesterday, our weapons were gone. "Dangerous? We're not dangerous, we're on a quest," I replied. "We mean no harm. You may think that the four of us are threats, but we're not," Lenard added. But the orange boy (I'm gonna call them according to the color of their clothing from now on) yelled, "Silence! Your tricks won't trick us, because we're the only ones who are allowed to do those kinds of tricks. Am I right, boys?" "Yeah!" They said in unison. "Let me ask again, strangers, why are you here?" The orange boy's face came closer to Lenard's. I heard him muttered, "I just got wrecked by a kid." "It's. . . kind of a long story," Chloriette said. "Really?" Asked the orange boy. "We like to hear stories, especially long ones. After that, we'll fall
If you ever thought that arriving in Neverland was exciting (except getting your face planted beneath the sand and got imprisoned), going to a home full of fairies sounded more exciting. Peter Pan didn't inform the lost boys about this. He didn't want to be responsible for them causing trouble in Pixie Hollow- home of the Never fairies! It hasn't changed weirdly, nor did the fairies. Thank the heavens for that. "Let me get this straight," Peter Pan rubbed his chin with his index finger. "You, MaXabiere, have this weird firepower and the ability to fly, am I right?" "You heard me right." I smiled. "Then Chloriette has the power by singing," he said. "Something like that." Chloriette rubbed her arm. "Lenard can understand other words, that's rad," Peter Pan commented. "Trust me, it's really helpful." Lenard nodded. "And Victor is strong, fast, and agile," Peter said. "And can bake cookies," Victor added with pride. <
