Oizys held his hand out and a small light with a tint of red but as bright as the sun floated on the palm of his hand.
"The ability to emit light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. The Laser. Only you can use this ability to its fullest as no one else has and will not be able to produce such a thing for thousands of years in Eldian. Radiation is almost impossible to manipulate using mana."
Oizys said. At that moment Arkan had sparkles in his eyes.
"This will be your core, the source of your power and the abilities I have gifted you. No one will be able to sense it, even a System and A.I."
Oizys said and then the small bright light flouted to Arkan.
"You will be lethal to those who use mana as they will be lethal to you."
Oizys said as the whole of him started to crumble into dust.
The ball of light entered Arkan's belly and as soon as it did, pain that he had never felt before assaulted every part of his body, the process only lasting for seconds. He fell to his knees thinking that the pain was going to last for much longer or it would come back again.
That was when he saw it. Black circles formed around his ankles, his thighs, his waist, his wrists, his forearms, and then his neck. 10 in all.
Strange symbols were written on them that produced a bright light after the last circles on his neck were fully formed and then the light vanished, leaving the symbols and dark circles behind.
He looked at himself and then at the almost-vanished Oizys.
"Your chains. You already possess the power to destroy kingdoms but you will have to break each chain to gain that power as your body gets stronger and you conquer your spark. As per the rules and because you can't use mana."
Oizys said and then smiled for the last time.
"Each time you break a chain, the faster I can return and each time you kill a reincarnate, the less powerful our Guardian enemies will grow before I can come back. Your fellow reincarnates are already very strong, be reckless but careful, well, just be you and you will survive. Follow your Intuition. That is how you will find them."
He said as the last part of his body crumbled to the ground. Arkan did not know how to feel, but there was one thing he knew and that was that he could not wait to start this adventure.
He looked at the dust on the floor and then the blood that was now almost like rust more than golden and vowed to carry out his part of the deal they had just made. The only man who has ever called him his son.
"Almost forgot, remember your nature."
A voice said out of the blue. Arkan looked at the blood as it was Oizys voice. It seemed that there was still some divinity left in it.
"You will be born in a kingdom that is more ruthless than where you are from and where one of the other reincarnates are. Do not trust anyone. Oh and I have a surprise for you in Eldian, you must travel to Palegra, I am sure you will bump into him."
The voice said hurryingly and Arkan was starting to get lightheaded as the voice got fainter and fainter. He himself was disappearing.
"I also dealt with Danny. Let's just say his soul will never stain the universe again."
Those were the last words of Oizys and they made Arkan smile from ear to ear. That was until everything went dark again and Arkans journey was about to start.
Eldian was not prepared for the misfortune he was bringing with him.
The sky darkened and the thunder grew louder. In a land that no countries dared to mount an invasion in the people looked at the dark sky and the thunder rumbled again as it began to rain.
"It must be a sign. The queen is finally giving birth."
A grown man with a full beard said to another. Both of them were like giants that looked like warriors through and through. They had the battle scars to prove it.
The streets were still full of people even though it was after midnight. They were drinking and eating like the whole kingdom was celebrating while some came into the city walls full of injuries but still in a good mood.
"She has been pregnant for 14 months. No wonder the king chose her than one of us. She was a warrior through and through for her to make it here on her own. The best we can do is 11 months."
A woman said that was next to the men who were just talking. She was wearing battle armor that fitted her tall but slander body like a glove. It was clear that she too was a seasoned warrior of some kind as her armor looked like that of a Valkyrie
They all then joined the others that were looking up at the castle that loomed over the kingdom.
It was up a tall hill and the castle was carved out of it. It had skulls of slain massive beasts at its boundaries showing the power of that who ruled the land. From the middle of it, a river flowed down to the city, cutting it from east to waste while bridges connected the two.
Just by looking at the whole castle, you could tell that the walls were strong and whoever raised it was on another level of skill.
If you looked from above, beyond the castle's hill, there was nothing but a blanket of black clouds that covered what lay underneath them with only the most powerful of the kingdom knowing what dwelled there.
"My lord, it is almost time."
A warrior said to a dark figure sitting on his throne and drinking out of a beast's skull. Looking at the warrior who spoke, you could tell that he had killed lots and lots of people by just looking at his eyes. He was as tall but slender than those who were outside, but more menacing.
His beard was tied in knots that stretched all the way to his midsection and his armor was made out of brown bones of a slain beast, the same color as his hair and eyes. You could feel his murderous aura though he was surprising it.
After hearing his words, the person put the skull down and said nothing for a while before he stood up still clouded in darkness as the room had little to no light.
In a bedroom fit for a queen, screams were heard as the queen screamed and pushed with five people encouraging her.
It was not a normal birth as instead of her water breaking, she had bled out of the blue while reading, signaling that something was truly wrong. Arkan had spilled his first blood, the blood of his mother as his presence was felt in the world for the first time.
After her condition had settled she was showing signs of the birth being on the right track, it was encouraging.
That was until the man that was just in his throne room appeared out of nowhere in the room together with the other man. The room felt silent for a bit as fear gripped every maid that was there until the queen screamed again.
The man said nothing and stood still but his presence come with a pressure that made the room silent except for the queen's screams.
As she screamed, something happened inside her. Arkan moved and he found himself conscious while still inside his mother.
As that happened, several beasts and monsters that were thousands of years old who were at various places around Eldian looked in the same direction at once. They had honed their senses to that of intuition through the years but were unable to master it let alone attune it with their body and mind.
They could feel it though. Something that had happened 13 times in the last 500 years was happening again while one of them knew that it had happened 34 times in the last 10 000 years he had lived.
One of them, those who should be not named was being born. Too many had been born in this era and they knew something was wrong.
After looking in that direction for a while they continued on their way as they knew better than to go near such individuals as they witnessed how power-hungry they get as many of their brethren who challenged them died and contributed to growing their power.
They just wished that they killed each other off and finally let them take over this world.
Whiles this was happening, on Earth, a man was running for his life. He did not know why but he had been seeing the same white truck since killing a boy that was a nuisance to him and his business. He thought that he was being followed. This man was Danny. He could not find his son anywhere and the three guards that had run away. He needed to get to his hideout in case anyone traced the shots that were fired back to him.He had to cross the street to finally reach the neighborhood that he controlled and feel safe again. He looked left and right then crossed.Out of nowhere, a white truck appeared with its headlight brightened and at full speed. When he looked at the headlights, he felt his soul crying. That day was the last time anyone had seen him as the police could not identify the person that the mincemeat that was sprayed all over that road was from.Like he had been waiting for that one last thing on earth to happen, Akarn was born into Eldian while his mind raced as he never th
In the sea of dark clouds, as it rained the raindrops passed through the layer of dark clouds and then onto the land beneath and making the ground muddy. As the raindrops passed through the clouds, their quality changed. They went from being transparent to having a dark tinge that fell on a dark forest where its trees, land, and water were dark and sickly. The land was eerie and forbidding. If one took a glance at it, one would think that nothing lived there. That was until you took a closer look and listened to the surroundings while letting the goosebumps travel throughout your body as you realized that the land was full of life. Well, of life that did not belong anywhere else in the world. The place was dark but the strange part was that the same clouds that covered the vast land had a tint of a dark purple glow when it was night, allowing little light for those who could not see in the dark.In day time some of the sun's light would pass through, showing that the sea of dark cloud
In the castle, before Arkan was born into Eldian, the king was getting bored of ruling a kingdom. All he wanted to do was go on a hunt and maybe find a way to pass this bottleneck that he seemed to not get over.He had been stuck in the same circle of power for far too long. Even the cultivation method that he had received from his inheritance that made him soar through the circles of power in a record amount of time had said that he would reach this point. Just following the cultivation technique was not going to get him through the next stage from here on.He set on his throne and drank. It seemed that his wife was about to give birth to his first child. When she came to him, he never knew why he was so taken by her.She was of a different race and one that they had hunted down in the past and kept as slaves before the new world. While they still had slaves, unlike other kingdoms, they did not invade others as they were just that far away from civilization and still kept the slaves
Arkan opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was blue.'What the? Did I die again?'He asked himself as he tried to move but could not. It was hard to move his head as he felt tired like he desperately needed to go back to sleep.'Ok, I am tired of this utter world bull shit! Wait, if I died then that means I did not fulfill Oizys request.'He did not know how to fill about that. He had made a deal with the old Guardian and that means he had given his word.He did not know what to be sadder about. The fact that he had really reincarnated in another world and died just minutes after being born in it or the fact that he failed what Oizys had asked of him.It was something strange. He did not know why he felt sad for not fulfilling his mission and then it hit him. They had only met for a short while but Oizys felt much more like a father that he never had in that short space of time than anyone had in his life. Then he remembered those eyes. The eyes of someone who was his biological
The hooded man made up his mind. He looked at the cliff and with no hesitation, he leaped off the ground and started to climb it.In no time he had made it to the barrier that was the sea of dark clouds. He still did not hesitate as he climbed and went passed them.As he did, the clouds hung on to him as they penetrated his body with his defenses not working against them at all. They made it into his body but he did not struggle. Unfortunately, since he was still wearing his hooded armor, you still could not make out what effect they had on him if any.He broke through them and reaching the cliff's surface was now child's play to someone like him. When he reached the top, a view of the capital from afar was in front of him. He was above a great forest that stretched for as far as his eyes could see to the east of him.On the north was the sea of dark clouds that had rolling hills as high as skyscrapers keeping it at bay. That was where he was standing. To his west was the capital of t
The three could not help themselves as they sized the hooded man up and down. Two of them were middle-aged males. The one who had spotted him looked skinnier than the other who looked like all he knew was fighting and never read a book in his life. The last was a woman wearing leather armor. They were all wearing impressive armor with the men carrying long swords and the woman a bow and a short sword. It was the woman who spoke next."He doesn't have his defensive shield up. Don't you remember your training from the guild? Some who do not put up their defensive shield are powerful bastards that do not want to show how strong they are, with some of those being crazy maniacs who kill anything that comes close to them for the fun of it while for some it's for their cultivation."She said. The person who first spotted the hooded man sized him up again and could not help but smile wildly even more."And some are weak fools who act strong to keep good guys like us from our meals."He said a
Guards ran to the scene and got there within seconds. They were wearing dark grey leather armor and all of them had different kinds of weapons on them. You could tell by just looking at them that their armor and weapons were of high quality. They all had the badge of a tall man slaying a dragon on their chest. After reaching the area, one of them who had arrived faster than the others signals them to stop. He knew who the armor of the dead bodies belonged to and had wanted to kill them himself, but he was a guard of the wall which came with certain restrictions. They waited for the hooded man to finish and after he left without them doing anything to him or questioning him, they took the bodies and removed any sign of a battle or blood on the road.It was like nothing had happened.'So, outside the walls, the rules are still the same. Do not kill those in a lower circle of power than yours unless provoked while those who are weaker can challenge and kill those who are in a higher circ
Draka walked down the street, leaving the busy storefronts, markets, and restaurants and going down an alleyway that lead to the back streets of the busy town.Just like in any city, there was an underground where only those who braved danger could go.After walking for a while and thinking that he was lost, he rounded a corner and went into a dark alleyway, and finally found the store that he was looking for.It had a sign written 'Snake Eyes' and a symbol next to it with two snake-like eyes looking straight at him like they were alive. He went inside and was hit with a foul smell like someone had been boiling a dead dog that had been rooting outside for some days. It only lasted a second as he come through the door.It was like his whole body had phased through something jelly-like and he remembered that feeling from all the other times he had come there. He found a sexy ordinary-looking woman wearing no armor but a one-piece black pencil dress. Draka looked at her and saw through h
Armageddon. It is Brika's new spell that she got from her Cultivation technique. Her hasband had been teaching her how to cast it with her showing her talent in the forest. It's always a spectacle seeing it.It is also the reason why there is such a big gap in power between second circle and third circle primals. The Guild master gave her one of his family's Cultivation techniques in Palagra. The spell is the reason they had been staying outside the city. It's a powerful Cultivation tichnique that comes with two powerful spells each time she advances and one that comes with a one-word spell after advancing to third-tier. It seemed it she had reserved it for when she was fighting a powerful opponent. The world of Primals was getting more and more interesting as lost cultivation technique where being reserected.Drollo looked on and was impressed. It seemed he was learning more about Primals and Witches as he fought them. What he learned was limited to his expirience. With him seeing t
"Oops, I almost got carried away there."Drollo said after looking at Drika's eyes and realizing she had been shocked by amount of killing intent that he had put out in that split second. She still had her guard up but had went from an attacking posture to a defensive one.She was now sure that the person that she was fighting was not a normal one. It had been a long time since she was so coutouse of her opponent and it went to show just how much a Primal's killing intent could change the course of a fight.'Good, at least now she is not being lead by her bloodline insticts.'Drollo thought. He let his guard down and stood up straight as he put his hands on his back like an old wise man.His gesture startled Brika but she did not let her guard down. She had just managed to reach the uppor tier of her Circle and was fighting someone who had been in her current Circle of power for years and who was more than her current age was something she never thought when considering a fight.Droll

As the King was contemplating the reason for childbirth, a woman was making her way from the city of Palagra to the capital. It was a long way but she was determined to reach there. She was wearing light leather armor that was grey in color and had fair features. She kept her hair in a ponytail style so it could not distract her in a fight. She had something to protect that she was carrying on her back. It was a baby that was calmly looking around with curiosity at the changing environment as she ran. It was a boy with black hair, not the usual brown which was the norm in the Dragarian Kingdom. He was only a month older than Arkan. He was held secure by a cloth as his mother did not want to always protect him when fighting an enemy from the front. By the blood on her front and on her armor, you could tell that she had been fighting ever since she left the safety of where she came from.'Damn, there are still lots of monsters roaming around close to the main road because of the beast t
The next day, Dontas prepared himself for something that he had never wanted to do in his life but knew that he was the only one that could complete such a task.‘In my lifetime, I never thought that I would go into that place.'He thought as he turned around and left his bedroom. It was early in the morning and he wanted to get this over with sooner rather than later. He arrived in front of Boa’s store in seconds and stood in front of it for some time as he looked straight at the front of the closed doors. He did not look up at the sign above but he could feel that he was being watched. It was like the old seer was watching, a feeling he was starting to forget. He steeled himself and went in. For someone who looked as scary as he was, this scene was priceless. For a split second, he smelled smoothing that was like boiled rotten flesh being cooked that took him by surprise but he managed to compose himself.“Ohh, you finally came in. I thought u might just pass by like the rest of t
While Arkan was learning more than he thought that he would at the age he was which was only 2 months old at the time and because Draka was now always talking to him like his teacher when drank but understanding that he was a child and so kept his rumblings at least about the simple things about Eldier, he was getting closer and closer to the answer that kept escaping him.He was sure that there was something that he could do to make himself stronger even though all that he could do was to cry and poop, no, not cry but cream which was how he cried. In the capital, the queen came back out of the blue as the golem she had made fell from the sky above the capital and landed outside the First Section walls. It shaded the layer of trees and soil that it had absorbed when it first came to be and as it did so only the houses and humans that were still inside them could be seen as it got smaller. It jumped and landed on the section where there were no longer houses because of it and then fuse
After that day, Arkan could not think of anything but that scroll. The fact that his intuition was not helping him at this point made him grumpy and now he even felt hungrier than he used to. After thinking for a while, he was sure that it was because of the fact that there were only dotes on that scroll with no real words written and he was even contemplating that it was meant for blind people. What turned his emotions into turmoil though was what Draka had told him after showing him it and going on a teaching spree that came out of nowhere. "This is the base of every cultivation for every Primal turned into a body language. In the Abyss Age, a time when demons walked every continent beside humans, the Old Primordials had to find a way to introduce cultivation to any human with the aptitude to cultivate." Draka said and Arkan was happy that he had been born in this age. He was sure that he would have died in those days for sure. Draka continued. "This was because they were losing
'Some would say the means to communicate with someone is the true essence of a human's desire, as to be able to convey one's feelings and to be understood is freedom itself. Well, how can I tell this inbreed maggot of a bastard that I want to throw him into a pit of boiling oil and fry him to a crisp while healing him each time that he is about to die and do it all over again?'Arkan was looking at Draka furiously again as he saw that the injection that was the symbol of torture for him in Eldeir had a now greener liquid in it.Draka saw this and just smiled like he was Frankenstein in the flesh, well only a much, much more handsome Frankenstein. This was all in Arkan's mind of course.Draka just injected him and watched as the process of expelling the poison was much slower again and took some notes down.He had made custom earplugs for the inhuman cry Arkan always let out while for the first time in his life, he had come up with a way to manipulate his respiratory system to shut dow
Back in the capital, before Cantel's capture and Cotez almost courting death from just one attack that was not even the queen's spell but her having that much control over mana to wield such devastating attacks on Fourth Circle Primals, the captain, the lady from Snake Eyes and everyone had been looking at the queen on top of the castle before she started her rampage. She was more than tens of kilometers away but many had no problem seeing her while others saw a flouting dote in the sky. It was the capital after all and everyone that could afford to stay there had to train their cultivation in order to keep up with the prices and avoid being killed by challenges as per the rules of the kingdom."Dzagori."A person called out as he walked over to someone he noticed in the crowd looking up.It was the name of the captain of the guards of the city gates. Dzagori looked over his shoulder and saw a belly old man with muscles for days. He was bold and had scars all around his right hand goi
