He did not want to look like a loser in front of these people when he had just been able to finally fall his opponent down. Different words roared out from among the audience but he did not pay attention to that. He could swear that whatever they would say would be no different from what the blasted MC had been saying about him. And he did not want to do any of that.
He shook his trembling head as he began to analyse the whole situation. Did it really matter if he won or anything? He had held on to that belief that if he won the fights he was going to, there would be a glimmer of hope for him on the way. But now, staring back at the Lightning Fist Chimp, he wondered if it was all but a dream. A faraway dream he could only reach when in sleep.
A fool’s dream.
He did not want to think about it
The Firstborn has shown exceptional strength, that we cannot deny.It has shown its resilience times without number, which is why it has become one of our most interesting subjects. While we continue to observe it from the background, we know of how far it is going now.We are aware that it is currently in Laprisha at the very moment but about what it is doing in the Laprisha Soul bast contest, that we cannot determine. There are a lot of unknown factors involved in the first Born and we think It would be best if we let fate play out, just the way it ought to be.If things do go wrong and our expectations end up being cut short, then at last, we can assure ourselves that we have others who have piqued our interest. Others who would see to the return of the Mad Prime, no doubt.<
The fox lady stood at the exit of the Bisellium with a sly smile on her face, looking just the same way he had seen her.“YOU? What are you doing here?” Shin sputtered out.“You know her?” Ronke asked.Ralia smiled more and then put her hands on her hips, shaking her head with her eyelids partially closed. “ Why does that matter? The Wolf would not die just like that anyways. It is the FirstBorn and it has had so many lives. That is why I want it. But as long as you leave the Wolf for the tinkering of the Lord Aiko and for my consumption, I would allow the rest of you to live. But if you dare to oppose me, then, come at me!” She smirked, her fiery yellow aura sparkling out in an instant. She was just the same way as she had been back a
In the event of the worst that could possibly happen, we ask that you do not do what is rash. Now, we do understand what it is that makes you to fawn over the First bone. It is mutual. As it is, what is it that the first born has not done which is yet to surpass our imagination? In the examination and theorizing that we have carried out over the form of the First Born, we understand that he is packed full of resilience. That aside, we know of the buffs the FirstBorn currently enjoys by the nature of his position. And while the Irunmole Society is yet to lay their hands on the First Born- That is, if they do believe that the First Born would be alive or even exist due to the scattered nature of the Ascenders and their birth numbers- we have him in our sight. It would be then to our utmost responsibi
The Chimp roared out again, the lines on the cracked face of it twitching at the effort of it. The fur on the the body fo the Chimp birtsled and shifted just a bit from their position as lightning coursed across the beefy muscles it had, with which ti was lifting the spirit prime wolf effortless in the air.It opened its mouth and bared its yellow teeth out into the open. And then, with a snort, it started to pull, its muscles swelling up as it tried to pull the Spirit Wolf Prime into halves, one hand holding and tugging viciously at the neck and the other at the two limbs, both with the intention of tearing the Wolf apart.YHHHHHHNNNNN!The wolf whined weakly as its body began to strain, pulled apart by the sheer might of the brute which was having it in the air. The show that the audience sa
The contest was fairly simple. At the beginning of it, one had the littlest things to worry about. To make it a bit more on the opponent side, the contestants who were the hosts of the soul bonds were kept within the Bisellium. The purpose of this was simple in the sense of it. Along the past events that had happened, the people who had their soul bonds at the losing sides, more often than not, threw themselves into the stage, all in a bid to lend a desperate hand to their soul bond and tilt the tides of the battle. After all, to them, the cost of having a soul bond was pretty much on the high side if one considered it well enough. One had to put in time in getting to establish a mutual sort of relationship between host and bond. The stronger the mutual relationship was, the stronger and more powerful the dup became. The noise from the crowd at the Amphitheatre was deafening. So much chaos here and there ass the once enthusiastic crowd that had been beating and having fun some minutes back were now in total disarray. They had not expected the sudden turn of events. Even though they had known that the contest was bound to be in this way, with all sorts of uncertainties but this had not been what they had been expecting. No, nt at the very least. At most, they had expected some of the regulars. The host of the wolf would step up into the Bisellium and try to stop the Ape from turning the whole of the battle around. Indeed, that was what it had looked like however but then again, the blue pale lady was not the host that they had been expecting. It was, by logic, impossible to have a host who was dead. And from howAscenders: Rising From Zero Too Slow!
Tangera could not just wrap her head about the whole thing that had been going on around her. It was all too fast paced for her to keep up with. And it was not that she was a dumb fellow. Someone who waa dumb was a person who could never make it this far as a trainer. As the trainer that she had become. So, she comforted herself, she was not dumb. Things had just gone too fast for her brain to possess and it hurt her so much. One minute, it looked like everything was going to be sorted and that everything seemed just fine. Ronke’s gamble had paid off and that the whole event had been put behind as they had won. That was the plan. She had even dared to hope that with Ronke winning, that there could be the slightest chance that she would not need to leave Laprisha anymore. That was what she had dared to think so but then fate had other plans.
Time!Time… Time is what differentiates the past from the future and the present also. Ime is the deciding factor that tells whether all of the efforts put in place have truly been worth it.Time is the ultimate determinant that chooses whether in a moment, one is made to be the hero or the villain of an anticlimactic story.Time is everything and to him who manages his time well is to whom upon which the universal secrets have been bestowed. On my journeying across the realms, I have come to understand that a lot of things are centered on time. And a lot of regrets are centered on the inability to maximise the time we get to make that which is right and ebay for us.Most times, it is of the fact that time does not wait for us to get as skilled as we need to be in order to prepare for that which is to come upon us suddenly. It doesn't matter whichever way time does present itself to us, the onus of the matter is that
