But Shin was ready. Several balls of disappearing light popped up into the air, each one teleporting them from one point to another, leaving the guards dumbfounded only for them to scream as they made contact with the golden yellow lights, their ends being ultimately death.
Death at the hands of the Ascender of Rebellion, Ralia.
The teleporting began to take its toll on Shin. He heaved now as they appeared here and then vanished again as the balls of light replaced them.
It was one thing to port himself. It was another to port not only himself but three people along with him. The strain was breaking him and he felt like he was going to get a fried brain anytime soon. Still, he endured, pushing on as much as he could.
He was the only one who was keeping th
Bayo stiffened just then as a thousand voices cried out all the same time, almost deafening his ears. The wind pushed against his clothes, swaying his gown left and right even as a swirling vortex appeared, sucking out the winds into the direction of Bayo. And in the next second, Shin and Hana gasped for breath as dryness rocked their core. The wreath of dark airs that engulfed everywhere suddenly vanished, leaving behind a sensation of emptiness in its place. Whatever Bayo pulled through was indeed strong, Hana and Bayo mused, struggling to get a hold of themselves and get rid of the sudden nauseousness that was climbing up their throats. They knew better, that for any move to make the effort to cut through the darkness. The very darkness that was blanketing the entire landscape of Laprisha in a circular style, almost as if a spiral ring had seared thr
The darkened air wafted across the short, miniature skin hairs of Bayo as he stood, meditating on what Shin had said to him. He swallowed, feeling his throat patched and dry even as he stood still. The ground, soft and desert like did not help to alleviate that dryness he was experiencing. He frowned, and then, his eyes popped wide as he came to realization of himself. "Shin…" He called out, bending to his side, the right of him where Shin was. The Ascender Hadjan knelt down, his lips smeared by life essence that he had barfed up, a reaction to the overexhaustion he was facing. His white hoodie and trousers had seen much better days, with the stains and dust plastered all about it. He knew just well enough that he had been pushing himself hard but he was not one to complain. Just like the First Born, he had a purpose he was here to serve. "Eh…" He groaned and fell to his fours, shaking his head as he tried to stabilize himself.
“No! Nobody dies here today.” Shin declared as he painstakingly pushed himself to get to his knees. Hana swallowed as she felt the solid resolve coming from Shin. He had progressed over the time since they had both gotten stcu here in Laprisha. Whether he was trying to impress her or whatever, she had to admit it, Shino had in terms of power and might surpassed the original Shin. So much that it felt the other one was the counterfeit and the one who was right before her was the original version. “Yes, I agree with Shin. We are all walking out of here, alive. I have a plan.” \ Hana frowned at the words that she just heard coming from Bayo. She looked his way, arching an eyebrow at him, disapprovingly. “Plan?” She queried testily.
The energy surged through Shin, almost overriding all of his senses. But he was strong. He had not come all the way to be overrun by energy that he was supposed to overcome and absorb. Just then, a shrill cry sounded off to his side, alerting him of what was currently going on. He looked to the side, feeling the vibrancy of the raw Agabar wash over all of his body even as his eyes bulged open, looking on to the incident occurring. “Hanaaaaaaaaa..” Shin cried but just as he did, Ralia looked his way, her eyes fierce and burning with hate and rage. He shook momentarily, willing to rush over there but he was not done with the Agbara that he was absorbing. Plus, he knew deep down that he could not really do anything. Not when he had not the energy to compete sufficiently with her.
“You have been a pain in the backside, disrespecting me despite the fact that I am your senior here. Don't worry. I am the unity. It is my responsibility to make sure you are disciplined.” His voice fired up towards the ending. “But do not worry. I am the unity and from one we all have come from. And to One we all shall return. Starting from you, Ascender of the 13th Born. It is time to assimilate you for the greater glory of His Worship.” “What?” Shin blinked. Yasmin turned around now, with the same smile on his face. “And after that, you shall be next, Ascender of the 17th Born. Ascender of Victory. I shall welcome you into the unity, just after rebellion is assimilated.” Yasmin shuddered with laughter as he threw his head backwards, his body crackling with tingles of electricity. “It is futile that he trusted you with this. But yet, you failed to knock him out just at the nick of time. I guess he put too much trust in othe
Shin grinned at the thought of having them to team up with the same person who had been so after them. The same person that had forced Bayo into what he had become at the very moment. However, now was not the time for regrets. He frowned, wiping off the smile that was forming over his face as he stared at the form of Yasmin who was somewhat enjoying the dilemma that they found themselves in. He so much wanted to rush out there and smack him in the face but due to what he had seen, he knew better than for him to rush out like that. He was the Ascender of Victory and today he was going to prove his worth to Bayo. To the very Ascender who had taught him all that he had to come so far. Bayo had taught him just how to control the two laws within him, how to manipulate both laws to do his bidding and right now, it felt like this was the perfect time to
Bright flashes of light erupted into the air just then at the command issued out of his words. He released a new technique, one that he did n't have before but because of the excess energy that was following though his body, it was rather easy for him to visualize the technique. Photn Blaze was a simple technique but yet just as it was simple, it was equally as powerful as it could be. The body of Shin trembled and quaked under the mighty force of the immense surge of destructive energy that was exploding out of him violently. Light discharged from his body, erupting out as if he was exploding continuously, but rather than flames and fire being the explosion force here, it was lal light. He was standing in the same spot but rather than just that, destructive energies continued to rip out of the ground, spanning for several meters, all of whi
“He seems to be getting desperate, almost as if he is rebelling against something.” Ralia said. “Our best chance is now. We have to knock him out before he rebels against it, finally.” Ralia said, making finger guns to her mouth. “And you have to keep to mind that right now, he is in a super charged state. I wonder… I wonder if he has a time limit that he is fighting against… A time limit he wants to disperse off by assimilating me.” Ralia said, her eyes flashing as golden yellow light began to envelop her. “Good grief…” Yasmin sighed. “I should not have let you two come close to each other. That is my mistake. But no more mistakes. “ Yasmin said, his legs phasing through the air as he cleared the distance between himself and the still talking duo. “Move!” Yasmin echoed out justa s he appeared before Shin, in the blink of an eye.
Here, you saw the title, right? Of course, yes, they would return. You certainly have not seen the last of it. So, like what was done at the start of this volume, we had an author boss note where we discussed the charcters and whatnot. Remember i mentioned that I was nto goign to make bayo the entire focus of it? Well, he kind of became focus of it being that the whole novel is geared to his wellbeing. Lol. At the ending, we can see that he is paying the price in full for the warnings Yasmin issued to him. Dont ignore soul adaptation but what does Bayo know? And i certainly cannot blame him. He has a lot of pressure on him, forcing him to amke the most drastic measures to ensure he is not lagging behind. But reclal that Bayo did not tart life as the toher Ascenders. All the Ascenders started their Life at the soul class of Elite. Elite is from 1000pts and above. BUt Bayo began from Basic Class, with less than 20pt which wa
And Pain.. “AAAAAGAGHHHHHH!” The huntress yelled out as the chunk of earth ripped through her back, spearing its way through her entire body, all the way from the back to the front of her. “Now, you can burn!” Ronke said and then, with a smile, she stomped her feet on the deck of the ship, willing back all of the flames that she had been keeping at bay. All of it, towards the screaming form of the huntress even as the ship began to break and scatter into bits of matter down the mountain ranges below. “Now, now." Ronke said, smiling as she willed up a gust of wind to take her off the deck as the deck finally succumbed to the head and the destruction of the flames even after it provided a dying frame for the figure of the huntress earlier. And then, the hull of something already so familiar appeared, rising above the form of Ronke. It lowered itself, a figure, which was Hana standing at the foredeck with her hand extended waiting to take the hands of
A large spike of Earth tore through the front deck of the ship, ripping through the spot that Slyka had stood in only seconds away now. The moment it ripped through,a gigantic explosion of flames burst out in the lower deck now, the entire mass of the licked up in instant flames and heat, turning out to be a massive firework in the sky. Now.... Ronke panicked. The level of destruction that she had caused with her earth spike stalling was catastrophic. She had to keep a wall of oxygen deprived air about her to keep the flames from gathering around her or ve scathing her own skin. She was not insusceptible to fire, after all, despite being able to control fire though. She was worried. But then, the worry about the CFR was the least of her concerns. After all, in the battle scene, who had to worry about what happened to the enemy. The person who did do that was the one who was willing to get himself or herself at the losing end of the whole thing. But for h
The Hunter is a killing machine which is specifically designed for such missions of severity, they do not show emotions and have no need for that because for the missions which they are assigned for, they have to be through and effectively. Their blows need to count and so the hunters are given new identities and introduced to the quality demanding system of the CFR. WHich would mean that even their souls are inculcated and taught about the values of the Cfr. In Other Words, they live for the CFR. However, this option of being a Hunter or Huntress is always so optional and never is forced on those within or without the CFR organization. It is only for those who truly seek to unlock the next level that the Cfr holds the key to. Lest we digress, the hunter is a single entity of overwhelming force. Unless the Hunters are all occupied at the moment or the CFR wishes not to involve them, then the army of
In life, we often do not have the option of choice. I mean, there is always the matter of choice but most times we have to choose between a great evil, and a far greater evil. In times like that, our sense of being is completely eroded, vanished from sight as we try to make the best of what we have to do. Sure enough, there might be a choice, lurking somewhere down the alley but for the matter of time being, we are blinded to it. And thus, the inevitable is what we eventually have to come for. Our choices are forced by the circumstance of the present situation. Which in hindsight does not look like a choice rather. In thesis is life and his priorities to keep. So, then, knowing about the instability of battle, the question is put out to all of you here. When faced with the tightest of situations, what would you do to ensure you live? To ensure that your values are not completely wiped out. In this situation, we have a matter of doing what is b
‘Yeoowww’ Bayo could only scream out in his mind, mentally as his whole body went through a wreath of red hot flames. Still in the gust of the momentum of the jump from earlier, his body went on, traversing space as he crossed the distance which was between the two ships. His body was roasting and he flew tall of the what, all of his insides feeling like marshmallows now. And oh, how hot the fumes were. The mere scent of the smoke that was about was roasting his nose, smelting down all of his internal organs that dealt with smell and breathing. His body hairs kept on shrinking as they blazed, the entire mass of the Lightning Fist Chimp now reduced to a literal burning mass of meat. Panic surged through his body now as Bayo crashed down to the decking of the larger CFR ship. While he wanted to re
The feeling had been instantouse for Bayo. For him to switch into the form of an Adze all in a bit and then revert back to the form of a Familiar Prime had been all so super fast. It was something which he did not think he would have been able to achieve, without Yasmin with him. Yes, of course, he could just as easily switch his body form ,without Yasmin being involved but also, he had to consider the event of the last time. He had spoked Ronke and the rest up when he had suddenly switched into the form of a growing Familiar Prime, as a youngling. He would not want something of such to repeat itself again, especially since it was bound to be a really rough ride in a bit, being that the CFR pursuing ship had arrived. It would be best not to unsettle anyone so that they could focus on what was really necessary and pivotal to their staying in the air for longer.
Beside a thorough negotiation skill as one of the prerequisites for a good CFR agent, another thing is to be considered in the midst of the yet many factors about a CFR agent. While the others may be so desiring, we would stress here once again, that lethal force is not always so desired in the CFR. If there is need forreal lethal force, there is the outer Consort of the Drakonian Confederacy or even the Inner Consort of the Drakonian Confederacy Army. If need be for thorough lethal force, then the army would be duly notified. An in such case this is often out of the hand of the CFR, However, be it known that it does not undermine the quality of the Cfr. While there is this option, the CFR does have its availability of lethal force. The Guardian and her aides are entities that are capabal of hta, so unless situation has escalated more than the numerous well trained CFR agents, then, Leth
Earlier… GBA MMM! A loud bang exploded now and the ship suddenly rocked to the left violently. Bayo could only growl silently in pain as his head, in reaction to the sudan movement, bounced against the wooden bar just before his head, towards the left hand side of the bed. “What happened?” ROnke and Hana shouted almost immediately as they jolted out of the cabin, looks of questioning on their face towards the one at the cockpit. Shin. ‘Well…” Shin cried out to them, his head tilted upwards, looking at something which was beyond them. “We have company and they have real mood swings.” He said, tilting to the right with the steering wheel as he attempted to stabilise the ship now. ****
