The way back was pretty much silent. Ronke led the way, followed by Bayo in his Spirit Wolf Prime form, flanking her on the back. Behind him, the two Hadjans walked on either side of him. Just then, Hana looked to the side, passing by a black notice board with scanty posts on it. She cantered past it only to return back and squint at it even more. After that, she hurriedly ripped out a paper and joined them.
They arrived at the chalet, the counter lady whimpering at the sight of them. However, they pay no attention to her. Ronke climbed the steps, followed by the company behind her. Soon, they arrive at the summit of steps, just right in front of the door where everything started from.
The door was unhinged on one of its hinges, the topmost one. Ronke stopped at the door, taking in the sight of everything.
There were so many things that she had in mind to ask about what happened but right now, one thing was paramount to her.
They had to get out of Laprish
Vrooomm… vrooomm…The atmosphere is that of earth. Hot and the air is laden with dust with the single carriage road badly managed and filled with potholes at every interval. Despite that, vehicles of different sorts, buses, private cars, lorries and wheeler trucks still traverse the road, each battling for its own sharts of the good parts of the road, surrounded by overgrown vegetations to both sides of the road.Inside the 20 seater white passenger bus, a boy, Shino, most likely aged between 15-17 seats nudged to the bus window. He has a yellow hoodie with the hood on, with blue stone jeans and a happy, excited and passed smile. The seemingly middle-aged woman besides him seems to have his face. The reason being that he is her mother. Clothed in purplish 'Adire styled Iro and Buba' she seats with a head tie of white on and a handbag of purple on her laps.Just then, the vehicle comes to a halt, suddenly, the passengers being impulsed
This is an update to the recent declaration of manhunt against the 21 soul remnants of Trixius the great. We would, of utmost urgency inform all the World's and associated realms about the new divination of the ones called Ascenders.Indeed, you would recall that a fortnight ago, we have posted a World Order, declaring the identification of these so called Abominations of Trixius, the Ascenders, and what forms they most likely inhabit. But, of recent times, new development has made our previous record to be inadequate. Of which reason we are putting forward a new declaration. The vile Ascenders known to inhabit various demonic beasts have, perhaps in response to our hunt of them, evolved, taking upon themselves, the very form and make of animate beings. No longer do they subject themselves to beastiality as before wherewith they struck terror into our hearts but now they walk among us, as one of us.While we may not have sufficiently a
The next moment, the energy wreath that created the smokescreen vanished and in the place where Bayo, the Spirit Prime Wolf stood, was another thing.Or rather, someone else.A blue skinned humanoid, naked.A Hadjan.Hana nearly jumped off the bed, startled. "What?" She gasped, totally taken aback at the crouched form of the Hadjan on his fours."H-how?" Shin lowered his sunshades a bit, just to confirm if the shades were not deceiving him.Meanwhile, Bayo groaned, feeling the usual weakness that came when he pushed himself too far coming back again. 'You better don't let us die, Yasmin.' He warned the soul remnant. He forced himself to stand, revealing his trembling form in all the glory of a birthday suit.Hana helped, turning her face away. Ronke smiled, putting a hand on her waist before giggling."You do realize that you are naked, right?" She made a mock gesture of covering her face but still was looking at him through her
Brief silence descended on them all. After a long while, Bayo shrugged, opening his mouth to talk."I have to say. Shin, you have the Law of Wrath. From what you said, you are tainted. And the more you use Agbara the less…""Yes…" Shin muttered."I think there is a way about that. It might sound crazy but trust me, it's worth a shot. I man, I used to read it in those manga books.""Manga?" Shino's eyes lit up. "You read manga?"At that, Hana and Ronke exchanged confused glances, blinking at each other."What is Manga?" Ronke questioned for the first time in a long time."Oh," Shin waved a hand casually. "It's something on Earth. So, what can you do to help me… Wait… what is your name? You have to have a name? Maybe your Earth name?""You guys are from Eledumare's pet World?" Ronke looked to Bayo."Pet planet?" Bayo asked."Yes, that's what Earth is called." Hana replied to him.
After all the discussions and planning, the four of them in the inn room decided to call it a night, if there ever was a thing like that in the heavens, resting in the beds while waiting to regain their strengths. It was hard to tell whether it was dusk or dawn in his place being that everywhere and everything had a perpetual gloom to it that the Vampires relished in.They were so used to it but for the travellers in here, they relied only on their instincts and calculations to determine the time of the day. And right now, based on what time of the day they arrived at Laprisha till now, this moment was pretty much Dusk.In fact, full dusk to be precise. If the Laprisha skies and atmosphere were darkened before, right now, it even became more darker, if a term as that could exist. In fact, unless one paid special attention to their environment, it was totally possible for such a person to go on ahead, banging their heads into buildings and what not.
And speaking of evaluation, Bayo thought of his current soul status. He nudged the soul genie, requesting it to present his current soul info.'Yasmin, status.'That was still the one thing that Yasmin was still valuable for. He was not yet capable of scanning the soul status of others and even probing the soul status of himself. And even to master that, Bayo was not sure he would have the patience, yet. After all, right now, his major priority was survival. Surviving the Adzes by beating them in their own game.Oh, if only he could live a day or two without having to survive one thing or the other. Perhaps, he could, Bayo mused, but that was not now.He would need to be truly powerful. String enough in the eyes of others and in his own rights.Because, so far, Bayo had noticed that only people truly powerful were the ones who had peace of mind. And he was going to get there. Without or not Trixius or those gods approved, he wou
Oh, Lord Meados. You know of a sure thing that my service is towards the Drakon Lord and the Drakon Masters of the Confederacy. This is as a result of being isolated by my own kind because of my study in the Law of Death. The Confederacy took me in when I was left out, like dirt to be mauled and eaten, ripped to shreds by the unforgiving hands of beasts and demons. And for that, I am grateful. But as you this matter that you have sought my attention to, dare I say that it is of no obvious purpose. Why?What do you think an Ascender as that would be of any importance to what comes ahead?Besides, Trixius the great is but sealed away. What further havoc could he cause?Yes, I am aware of the powers that each of these Ascenders possess, frighteningly mighty. But if you ask me, there are all but beasts. Well, all reason as beasts even if they now take humanoid form, obeying the beastial desires of their former forms.&n
"You know, I feel that this will be even much nicer if the building had some flash lights here and there. You know, some paparazzi lights." Bayo mentioned, pointing to various spots of the Dome Arena Market."Right," Shin smirked, adjusting his shades while pulling the hoodie over his head to cover more areas. "Except you are forgetting that this is not Earth."
