(A/N: I skipped posting the previous chapter do i had to delete the recent chapters and start it over. Sorry if it's costing you more coins. The reposted chapters are the same BTW)
"You Dare..." The gray sprinkled haired elderly woman with a somewhat old but yet radiant face growled, her right hand shaking furiously on the staff she held. She had a little clothings on with just her breast covered in a wrap of white scarf and a white skirt gracing her bare thighs while her ankles were adorned with red ankle beads.
Her presence seemed to carry a static electricity charge as the air around her whistled and howled, little Sparks of fire and lightning appearing briefly in the winds.
"I, Orisha Oya, Mother of Storm and Goddess of War has found you insolent and disobedient beast of an Emere unworthy of your lineage. I, Mother Of Storms, I reject your presence in the Fifth Heavens." The Goddess howled.
"Nooo.. Have Mercy..." The subject of
Orun Apaadi is rather a unique World, I must say. To think that a World would often times spawn creatures of immense hatred for all the creations of Eledumare with the sole intent of wiping them off reality. It is amazing and perplexing at same time. What causes a wave? The Wave or A Demon Wave as it is often dubbed is a period of time when demons give in their primal instincts of destruction and take it on a widescale. A wave is the period of time when all World Bridges from the First Heaven keep on vomiting hordes and hordes of demons continuously. What makes a wave then? It's simple or rather from my own perspective (I am sure many other seasoned veterans would agree.) that a wave is caused by the condensation of so much demonic energies within a single demon. We've seen cases of such, the most recent incident, being Trixius the fallen Prime who had spawned the greatest waves we have ever recorded. Now that we know how a wave is made
"You have what you want." The 9.7feet tall Drakon Lord said, on his feet, grinding on his lower lip.The room remained quite the same except for a little gold enameled black box that had blue lights hovering above it on the disordered table."Look, I know you are not convinced about this but..." The 10feet, pupil-less, shoulder length haired Emere says, a little smile playing at the edges of his lips."Of course, I'm convinced." Meados said, flinging hands wide to his side. "I'm convinced of the combined hordes of demons that will March against the Confederacy soon. Do you realise what that will impact against the economy? Economic recession, low standards of living, price hike and item scarcity, not to talk of joblessness and general populace resort to crime to eke a living, coupled with the headline problem of defending against the demon forces." Meados frowned."At general estimate, 10,850 GoldMints will be needed daily to live above poverty leve
Over time, we have sought for a new way, the new order to things. We have come together from different heavens, a people aggrieved by oppression, a people with sole resolve of redefining what should be as right. But we failed. When we saw the new light in Trixius, we failed to embrace it. Instead we hid, afraid of the change he proposed, totally not ready for what must be. A folly we committed so wholeheartedly. Now that we seek the new light, he is gone from us, extinguished like a whiff of flame in the wind. The preacher of new light is vanished before we can grasp him to behold his divinity. He was our own God, a god we woefully failed by hiding away in fear. Whereas, Trixius had comforted us. Gave us reasons to live and push on in this evil contaminated heavens. He showed us how to rise above the limitations imposed upon us by the higher powers. That if we had it in mind to succeed, then no one ever, be it God or Demon would find themselves in o
At the Outpost realm of Amnor, the Exotic World bridge phenomenon hums with continuous surging of energy at interval of seconds. The bridge is a translucent waterfall like wall, pulsing with energy that sparkles and crackles with various colors of light.Around the World Bridge is a broken off road that leads directly into the bridge called the Bridge Road which gave users of the bridge access. The World bridge of Amnor is dubbed an Exotic World Bridge because it not only connected three heavens together but went in double lane traffic, up and down. The Worldbridge of Amnor also connects the First Heaven, Orun Apaadi below with the Middling World of Merchandise, hence the major reason it was dubbed Exotic because of a commuter could either decide to descend into the resource rich but risky First Heaven or ascend up to the World of Merchandise, making it a choice land for several Spirit beings. However, while being a choice land mass, it also had high
"Everyone, keep alert for Fire Breathing Salamander with a nature path seeker orb" A shout echoed out behind Bayo that froze his motion.Slowly, he turned his frame mechanically to the back, only to jam eyes with the one of the guards he had seen at the makeshift gate. The female Drakon who was discussing with the Irunmole he killed, Laurena. The fire Drakon with short white hairs, fuming heavily with huffed shoulders and fisted hands as a red orange haze seemed to distort the atmosphere about her.And as their eyes jammed, the Drakon lady furrowed her eyebrows even more.BOOOOM!Her body outline blurred in the air, sailing through the air with a thrust shoulder out and a fist drawn aback."Shit!" Bayo cursed and twirled to the right. In the split moment he moved, the air shivered, fierce heated distortions discharging impetuously into the surroundings.THOOOM!The drakon's punch slammed in
"Some day, you will understand why you would have to give a chance to people just because it feels like the right thing to do. And I hope that in that day, I will be justified, for my eyes will be on you."Bayo jerked his head only to hit against the tight enclosure of a cave of earth that had swallowed up his entire frame as the words filtered into his ear canals, carried by the wind itself. How this happened, he had no idea.Meanwhile, Lord Meados merely flapped his wings, levitating still as he smiled to himself, noting the strain of confused emotions emanating from the lump of earth a little distance apart from him._____________Earlier On, About One Minute Before!____________"Send a contingent. You all can go, if you wish. That demon, restrain him for the needless recklessness he's causing.""And when you see what he is after, pretend like you never saw it and allow it passage." Meados said, his voice becoming a r
The right thing? What indeed is the right thing to do?They say, evil thrives when good men stay back and do nothing. But is that really sufficing? Most times, Fate plays with us all. And when Fate does, the question then to be asked is, is my next course of action reasonable?Would it benefit me in the long run? If it wouldn't, then don't take it. But if you do take such decisions because you feel or society assumes it is the right thing to do, then, you bring yourself to irrevocable harm.Because in the end, only you would live with the consequences of each action you make.So then, why bother yourself with doing the right thing when your long term interest is not protected?Even though, this may sound selfish but isn't doing the right thing because it is assumed so,even more selfish? Does society care about your feelings when you make such selfless decisions? I highly doubt.Rather, society would want you to abide thei
When I received the message of the Incarnations of Trixius being in the reach of the First Heavens, I did as I would be expected of.Promptly I left, together with the handpicked persons the Sect had chosen for me, down into the First Heaven to await the personification of the First of Trixius 21 one Souls, the First Born. However, what I did not expect was that The Emere would follow down there to attempt killing what was of the legacy of Trixius. To be very honest, I would have stayed in the background, observing the creature of interest whilst keeping it safe from the ever preying hordes of demons and beasts in the chaotic realm but, you would agree with me that my actions were of a necessity.Although, there is an underlying danger that word about our existence may come to limelight, of which we are not ready for the consequences, but I highly doubt that. The Emere I battled down in First Heaven, is one I would readily call a psycho
