If he could time exactly when the beetle would launch out a sonic attack at him, then he could use that to perfectly time its race to the back of it.Being that the beetle was slow, it would be hard enough for it to turn around pretty fast to redirect the flow of the sonic boom at him, all the while its back was still open and powering its vibrator.
