Tangera could not just wrap her head about the whole thing that had been going on around her. It was all too fast paced for her to keep up with. And it was not that she was a dumb fellow. Someone who waa dumb was a person who could never make it this far as a trainer. As the trainer that she had become.
So, she comforted herself, she was not dumb. Things had just gone too fast for her brain to possess and it hurt her so much. One minute, it looked like everything was going to be sorted and that everything seemed just fine. Ronke’s gamble had paid off and that the whole event had been put behind as they had won.
That was the plan. She had even dared to hope that with Ronke winning, that there could be the slightest chance that she would not need to leave Laprisha anymore. That was what she had dared to think so but then fate had other plans.
Time!Time… Time is what differentiates the past from the future and the present also. Ime is the deciding factor that tells whether all of the efforts put in place have truly been worth it.Time is the ultimate determinant that chooses whether in a moment, one is made to be the hero or the villain of an anticlimactic story.Time is everything and to him who manages his time well is to whom upon which the universal secrets have been bestowed. On my journeying across the realms, I have come to understand that a lot of things are centered on time. And a lot of regrets are centered on the inability to maximise the time we get to make that which is right and ebay for us.Most times, it is of the fact that time does not wait for us to get as skilled as we need to be in order to prepare for that which is to come upon us suddenly. It doesn't matter whichever way time does present itself to us, the onus of the matter is that
All those unprepared shall be swept. An Icon has been found.Or rather, reawakened and those unprepared shall be destroyed.A tide of darkness cometh, let him that is in the field flee and not return. The overwhelming destruction is spreading, let him in the house not show his face.Gloom shall rise and the atmosphere tainted with the destroyed life essences of all.Destruction in its wake and where the Wave shall pass, Only Death shall remain. For in that day, men shall run and women shall scream for the Icon would have no mercy.Run, men, hide women, let the children scream as they are de
"Aahhhhhh…""Nooooo…""Help!"Varied screams and yells for help continued to ricochet out against the airs of Amphitheatre. Despite the little time that had elapsed since the whole contest had gone south, there were still a sizable couple of people who remained in the pavilions. Most of them had fallen, a few of them barely making it alive after they had gotten to bear the brunt of so many boots in the stampede. The others who were yet in full health were the ones who had been rather too slow to get out on time.Seeing how the event had degenerated, they began to curse their luck, wishing against fate that they had not come here in the first place. But it was a little too late for that. Now, things had gotten so bad that it was almost impossible for them to get out without sustaining injuries to themselves. Injuries that were severe enough to end the lives of those who were weaker on the charts.&n
While he was in mid air, Hana and Ronke leapt out of the Bisellium together.Ronke’s mind was a mess. Her eyes watered continuously. It didn't matter that she did not know this Tangera so much but what she knew and knew was the truth was that Tangera looked out for the best interest of them. Even though it looked as though she was always trying to know so much about them, which had seemed so off to her, but that could be put aside when one was to consider how much of herself she was willing to give out to ensure the others were fine. She sniffed, her body airborne, a swirl of air, boosting her leap down and guiding the others towards Bayo. She sniffed again as tears began to run down her cheeks with renewed vigour this time. She remembered when she had requested the help of Tangera to help cure Hana of the supposed hallucinations that she had assumed was the matter with her but then again, the way that Tangera had responded was something s
'I am serious. I don't have friends here. Can we be friends, please?' Spidey's sharp interjection took the air out of Bayo as he gasped.'Oh Ho! Nice tactic but not working.' He shook his head at her.'Please...I don't know so much around here and I just felt that since you had the power to survive a Mountainox then I could reach out to you. Maybe learn a few tips from you on how to live in this form and…' Spidey's voice dropped really low.'I am nervous, Wolfie. All of this is strange to me. But you are like not new here. So, you can help me, right?' She whimpered into his mind.Bayo shook his head again, completely at loss of what to do or say.It was strange. An Ascender asking him to help her out?
Boom!Crashhh!THUDDDD!Sounds of chaos resonated here and there in the Amphitheatre in which the Laprisha Soul Beast contest was often held. It was not the sound of the battling of soul beasts this time but the sounds of an intense battle between the three beastkins and the Adzes guards as they tried desperately to recover their Lord and his mistress. It was a losing battle but the Adzes had the numbers so it did not really matter to them in the least. For as many as the Beastkins mowed down, many more of them surged forward like a wave from the sea, rushing into the battle. However this was not something that bugged down the three beastkins. They had expected this response from the beastkins but then again they had come here with a clear mission.
Bayo skidded to a stop as his eyes widened at the sight that was before him. He was not expecting to turn up to something like that. Not in the very least. The plan had been to come down here and to get Spidey and then, make their way away from here. And with the chaos and the commotion in all of Laprisha, it would be evn easy for them to make it out of the town without having to get the Adzes on their tail. That was what he had hoped for. But then again, Fate had come down here to mock him. Like it always did. And right now, it was in the time when he knew he was not a match for what was going to happen. Now when the Takers were involved. The Takers, the ones he had come to know, were with the frail looking Adze man with his body in a large balck obe. The neck sleeve was large enough to pass off as some sort of wrapping at the neck with just enough airspace between the mouth and the rest of the body to the fabric of the material. The sleeves of
Ronke sighed now. The fight was beginning to take too long. Everywhere she looked, chaos was here and there, left and right. There was just no end to it.Now, she was lost to what the Beastkins were all about here. Sure, they had the power to just deal with all of this and go away, after all the infamous Lady Grant was here, so what could they do? But now, it had stretched out way too long that even she Ronke was at loss. She was not used to fighting out in long, stretched out situations like this. In her time in the CFR as the captain of her scouting squad, there was only about precision and which strike was going to end it quicker than expected and estimated. Not like this.“Curse those dzes and their rapid regeneration!” Ronke mouths out in annoyance.
