They too, had left the room now, both of them walking down on the stairs of the Town hall into the open day light airs. The weather was serene, everything seemed perfect, and Bayo wished that it could go on forever. But then, it would be foolhardy to imagine that.
That the day was like this did not mean that the Longer SunDowns which they had been having would go away. The occasional grunts and roars that seemed to come from the belly of hell itself would not stop. All Things being equal, there was going to be a wave and they had to be ready for it. His hopes be damned.
