Perhaps you have heard of the Orisha and how they came to be. It's okay to then think that, hello, we are done right, are we not?
What else is there to learn about the Orisha? Oh hasty reader, be not impatient. For while the Orishas may be explained, we have yet the deities to talk about.
What are deities you may ask. After all, the only beings that fit the description of deities are those whom we all know as Orisha. So then what else or who else can be tagged as deities?
Let us consider the truest definition of deities before we can thus continue.
One definition has it to be the nature or rank of a Divine Being. Another definition, the one on which this writing will be anchored on has it to be defined thus;
A deity is one who is revered or exalted to be good or supreme.
Now, you see the connection between the two.
Can the Orishas be deities? Yes, considering that they get to be revered. Then
I love writing from multiple view points. It's amazing to know what Shin thinks as well as Macabu. Well, some other things are currently happening right now. You know. But let's have a showdown, shall we? Hehe. Welcome to December
Masquerades will not be deities if there is not one thing about that stands out from other beings. Of course, you could argue about the fact that they have the worship and adoration ff others a s a thing that differs that from other beings. And as a bonsu, this even puts the a little lower than the Orisha themselves. So yes, that is something with arguable But however, can that only be the true thing baout that makes them stand out? Surely not! However for the naysayers, permit me to fully explicate every aspect of this. What does make the Orisha to be Orisha? Yes, Understandably, the Orisha have the Aspectual Guardianship vested upon them. They have the responsibility of watching over their Laws and making sure it does not run rampant in the universe. This is becuase when one law is let to run rampant through the universe, the. The very fabric of reality is threatened. A law can influence people if let to run r
This is why if you ever have to get into a battle with a Masquerade. Or have a situation where a Masquerade is set loose, you would find yourself in a pretty dicey situations. Most times, it takes entire armies to put down Masquerades. Thus, making Masquerades is a very risky venture. The risks are far too great which is why those of the upper Heavens often have the strict law against hero admiration. A Masquerade is a phantom like existence which is still tethered to our reality. It is neither gone or here, resulting in depravity in the state of limbo. Sometimes, this may just be a natural occurrence. While other times it may be as a result of the fact that such a person has a sizable number of people who Reverence and adore them. This results in granting the Phantoms a reasonable anchor of power to gain most of their sentence back. However being in such a state of not belonging anywhere is enough to turn whatever sanity they possess inverted. Th
"It doesn't matter! I brought to her the salvation that your type was unwilling to give out!" Ashabi cried out now as she threw her hands into the sky. In a burst of surprise momentum, her body zoomed forward, hands spread wild at her side. She was dashing in for the Masquerade with the cloak of Raffia at his neck. Acting swiftly, Maso the Masquerade with the Raffia collar suddenly jerked his upper torso backward. That way, he is able to evade the dive in of Ashabi as her two hands come to clasp over his head. At the same time, a sister smile crosses her lips now as she watches him from above her hands, the former having to adjust his legs to control his balance on the ground. Simultaneously, his hands also reverberate a the same time, sliding up in the form of upper cuts for the upper belly of Ashabi.
It would not make sense for us to discuss what makes Fairweather a town which is well talked about and leave out the prizely item. Yes, the Apata Orisha. It is a Godly item, divine in itself that whoever holds it within. The power to seal Masquerades, it is such a huge thing that many do not possess. And how does that work? How does the working of the God of Seals and Crafts put together generate an item as legendary as the Apata Orisha? And still be able to seal even Demigods that are Masquerades? It is simple. Or perhaps, rather hard to explain being that we do not exactly know how it works. Perhaps, if there are those who become deified, they may be able to come to better understanding of it. However, that would not be what we discuss in this edition. What is to be illuminated here is how exactly the Apata Orisha works. Thinking of it by the name, one may want to assume that it is one huge rock of som
Also, the stone has its sealing to be done in forms of Chains. The higher the chain, the higher the power level of the Masquerades concerned. Which is certainly more than enough considering how powerful Masquerades are, at their basest of forms in the first place. And it's activation, is by sheer willpower. Nothing more, nothing less.By now, it should be not a surprise no more about how the working of the Apata Orisha works. Neither should it be amusing about the Class of strength these nigh divine beings contain in themselves, should it?A Masquerade in the truest form of it's power is ranked at the Demi God Class. Or at the Prime class with power mastery over a particular law.Or at least to an extent whereby their power cannot be ignored. No, not by the slightest means. Now, imagine the Chief of the Toen of Fair Weather having to have a portion of the power of each Masquerade sealed. And to think that the Masquerades sealed would all have a
It was time for her to take things serious, or so Ashabi was willing to think so.She was a Masquerade, a phantom one at that who was jaut recently bonded to the Hadjan Host, Hana. There was only so much control she could have. It was literally from jumping from one master to another, except that this one was the one whom she could edge over. This was not the Cheif of Fair Weather. It was not the matter who knew how to use the collective powers of the other Masquerades in order to force her submission. Now, that it was just them and her, Ashabi was willing to deal drastic damages to them. She had to make sure that the power the Chief enjoyed was massively cut off before he came around. That Chief, she truly had a lot to settle with him. However now, She had to to deal with the most obvious problems before her.The five standing Masquerades. Moshi, the Wind Masquerade was already gone and so defeated. It was no strange that it had
And the last pillar with seven chains, that one simply gave way. Shattering to bits but not before each of the Seven Chains were broken with a forceful eruption of concusion winds.Gasping to breath at this point, realization, the man immediately jumps to his feet now. As he did that, the people who had begun to gather around him in a panicky circle immediately give space allowance to him.“Chief Bamiro! The masquerade of the seven chains has escaped her hold!” One of them spoke, he had a head band of blue on his face.“You think I don't know that?” the middle aged man who turned out to be the Cheif of the town fired back, spite in his tone.Since the beginning of the festival now, he had has a forebroding feeling that things may not be the same afterwards. He had wanted to call it off but then he was only a Chief. And as a Chief, full power never really was his.He had a council of Elders with whom he was to consult with and the then derive jo
Now I know what you kay begin to speak about. That we dwell so long on the subject matter of the God of Seals and protection along with his most favored people. The yetians in the town of Fair Weather. However, before such lime of thought should be rationalize, let us come t the understanding that the God of Seals is simply too extensible to hastily discuss. More so, the people who have taken after his Law, granting him a sense of providence much like the other major important Gods are simply too complex to discuss hastily. Now, I reckon that there are other Orishas which we ought to diwcss, others to whom have the most interesting sorows of how they came to be. But then, patience, we should reach there soon enough. Very soon, in fact. But not after dissecting and totally analyzing everything about this Law and the people that abide by it.The Apata Orisha is a powerful artefact. If artifact itself can cut as the most sofficing word for it. Let us say, it i
Heyyyy.... Author Reader interaction here. First of all, thank you for reading this book. Special shout out goes to Lathawn. This amazing reader reached out to make me pick up the pace of updating. Even though I did not always update as early as possible [school stuff], I always had the double chapters in mind, because of him. I think I stuck to that, actually. Alright, fun aside. Here is my view on my book because why not? I am my own reader as well. [SPOILERS OF BOOK 1 HERE! Pls read BK 1 before reading this chapter]! !!!!! !!!!!
No more did the noise of the crowd disturb the harmony of both Hadjans as they stood still, both of them staring at the ground. After Abiola dispersed the assembly, he had said a few parting words to the crew and then left, his head heavy in thoughts. The City was in mourning. Whether they blamed Ronke for bringing in Ascenders in or not, it did not change the fact that Ronke was gone. There was no way in the Seven Heavens that they were going to get her back. At least, not in the form she was, when she was alive. Ken and Spyder stood a while back, watching but not daring to say a thing. They had not known the crew for too long, their only actual connection being no one sles but Bayo. Now, Bayo was gone. Or rather, Bayo had gone rogue.
“He was an Ascender/” \ “How come we did not get to be told this?” “Ascenders are always evil. We know this.” “Why did you withhold this from us?” “Why Would she bring us to the services of an Ascender.?” “They say the boy was her lover?” “Is it true?” “ What is this? This is bad!’ “The Irunmole Could come down on us soon.” “What she did, not telling us, was bad.” ‘I don’t support this.” “Ronke did us bad.” Ascenders: Rising To Hero
I, Temi, former Asoju of the Irunmole Society and ambassador to the Draconian Confederacy hereby write, in this official statement in my defense, that I do not regret my actions so far. Nevertheless, it is not to your fault that I hold these things. I try very much not to dwell on what is past but in the same vein, the recent happenings have left me irked. So irked that I would rzae the heavens to get my vengeance. The one who cost me my pain, the Ascender and First Born of the abominations of Trixius. Fight and destroy every one of them until, at long last, my dignity is restored and the hand that struck me down is brought back in embers. I, upon my honor, I shall have the head of the First Born. Maybe, only maybe by then, you may come to believe me. To believe the extent of the severity of the threat that194. First Born's Judgement
Life is not one thing that is set in stone. Our fate is not set in stone. One moment, we may think we have it all but then at that same moment, Life plays its expensive jokes at our expense. There and then, the life that thought was perfect immediately takes a sour turn, making for nightmares what once thought we had. It is a pitiful tale of our own very existence but it is so that we must live. One by which we must abide in, as far as we are not gods. Even the gods themselves are fated to live lives in which they are not pleased with. What then is the confidence for us who are not even like the gods in any way? There is nothing in life, that being said, there is everything in life. Let us not think that at our best moments, we do not expect the worst. Always set out good things but then, keep a handy
“Did you know about this?” Abiola asked Ronke, mouth agape. “He is a monster.” “Yeah, that does not matter. We won.” Ronke dismissed the conversation. But on looking back, her eyes widened now. Several of the Familiars seemed stuck to even act as they stared at Bayo, standing over the gigantic mass of the Turtle Backed Sonic Beetle. She could instantly guess what they were thinking. Now, they would be putting two plus two together, making their observations about what was really happening. Holding her stomach now, she heaved and then screamed out, free hand in the air. What if they decide to turn Bayo over to seek the peace like they usually had to do/ Her Heart raced, numerous thoughts surging through them. She would have to find a way to protect him. Sh
Apart from absorbing bloodlines while you fight, what else did you notice about this battlefield/’ Yasmin asked Bayo as he flexed his fingers right in front of the Beast. The Turtle Backed Sonic Beatss was already in front of him and the form of it was indeed tremendous. Just like he had seen from a distance. It was fearsome, its huge buck tripling the confidence of the monsters as it stared at him balefully. “You Want some?” Bayo taunted. ‘Focus, Biayo.’ Yamsin Called out to him. ‘I know, I just want to say something to it. It's staring at me and making me feel somehow.’ Byao complained. The Beast in front of him seemed to study him with beastial intelligence. It remained still, pausing and waiting while its Beetle eyes
“Ah!” Ronke moaned as her body slammed helplessly against the ground. She thrust her hands to both sides, her vision hazy. Looking for something to grab onto and regain her balance. However, for each object she touched, she could only make out the soft, squished and slightly distorted forms of them. These were once living creatures. There were the bodies of the beasts which had been stuck down by the familiars so far. Pride surged in her heart but at the same time, looking on through the hazy vision of hers, she felt a bit of panic. What was Bayo up to now? “Hey, need a hand?” A voice called to her, helping her get back up. Rejuvenated by the source of the voice, Ronke summoned all of her will power as she rose, hefting
No matter what happened here, Ronke’s plan was not foolproof. Things could always go south. It was for this reason, Hana remained jittery all through the wave. None of that they had faced up till now could prepare them adequately to face a wave. She knew that much. Despite being Lord Classed, she still felt uneasy. Somehow, something would happen. Something that was unplanned for. That was what she looked out for. The one thing she would be able to tank out with her Lord Classed Soul Strength. Law of War churned in her soul space, furiously boosting her spirits as she held her blade, tense but ready for action. She dashed to the left, slicing through, her eyes shut. Fiery aura razing into the atmosphere about her as the air heated up considerably. Her mind went ablaze, alertness level surging high. This was the true power of the Lord Class. The Class were one had a Soul Aura, the first true step in the beginning of power ascension. She opened her eyes
