Jessica rolled from one end of the bed to the next one, she was tired and exhausted. Her phone clutched tightly in her hand, it suddenly became a routine she would call Asher every morning to pass on a message.

She had been trying to reach Asher since it was 5:00 in the morning, but just like the others, it went straight to voicemail.

At a point she lay still, having a close look at her phone, she was trying to be sure it was Asher's number she's been trying to call all the while. "What is going on? Why should connecting to Asher be this difficult, lately? She muttered to herself, after confirming it was definitely ashers number showing right there in her screen.

Her thought quickly drifted to the last time he had spoken with him over the phone to tell him, she found Asher and how happy he was on that day.

"But I have been consistent all through the assignment. And I know I have gathered literally every information Asher might be needing, so why is he giving up on me now?"
