Sixty Four

The security officer, the waiter and the investor all dropped on their knees and begged Jake for mercy. Jake ignored them, took out his phone and made a phone call.

“Relive the manager of Western Manor of his duties. He doesn't deserve to be there. And the Grey family must not be part of any project in Western Manor,” he ordered and hung up.

His classmates stared at him in shock, unable to utter a word. They were eager to speak and ask questions about his new found courage but no one wanted to be the next victim. Not even Aidan.

“Pray, sir. I was wrong. I'm sorry. I can't leave Western Manor sir. I'll strike myself repeatedly if that will please you . I'll kiss your feet sir…” the manager sang like a canary but Jake didn't buldge.

Beep! Beep!

His phone beeped in his pocket. Frightened, he took it out and checked the message. It was an email that terminated his job offer in Western Manor. Jake grinned at him and said,

“Next time, you will never mess with Jake Frederick.”
