Stacy held her two kids close to her in the darkroom of their captors. As she cradled them, fear and sadness washed over her like a wave. She had no idea how long they would be held or what might happen to her family, and she was desperate to protect them. Ernestine and Teddy had taken it upon themselves to watch the news since they knew what was going to happen and within seconds they turned on the television it seemed it brought a glimmer of hope to them as they saw a picture of Emilie showing she was free and from what they knew she wouldn't have anywhere to go to.Ernestine and Teddy were ecstatic when they heard the news that Emilie was released from police custody. It had been a tense few days for them, worried about what she might reveal to the authorities about their activities.
