Jasper paid no heed to the aggrieved expression on Hansel's face. He reclaimed his composure before speaking. "The news of Darcy's betrayal has spread far and wide. It won't be long before other schools catch wind of it. I suggest you take a step back and let things settle for a while."

He offered the only advice he could muster, considering the gravity of the situation, especially for someone as prideful as Hansel.

Hansel shook his head, dismissing Jasper's suggestion. "Why should I hide away? I refuse to step back. Darcy is the true culprit, and she must be the one to make amends for her actions!"

His eyes were cold, lacking any warmth. How could he entertain Jasper's suggestion? That would only brand him as a coward.

Jude sighed, not knowing how to take hold of this situation. “Hansel, calm your temper. Shouting and claiming that you won't mellow won't solve the situation one bit.”
