Chapter 14: Police?

No one understood Vivian better than herself. She would never tolerate anyone looking down on her loved ones, regardless of the situation.

When she saw Nolan about to be punched, remaining motionless was out of the question.

While Nolan may not have noticed the impending punch, Vivian had already spotted it and acted swiftly.

Glaring at the man's unpleasant face, she spat, "You buffalo! Do you even know who you're dealing with? Are you aware of the identity of the person you were about to slap, huh? If I hadn't acted swiftly and stopped your foolish hand from touching his face, I'm certain you would never have been able to use that hand again!" She spoke ruthlessly.

Her expression clearly conveyed seriousness, and no one dared to dismiss her words lightly. However, skepticism lingered among the onlookers. They couldn't simply accept her claim that Nolan's identity was special; she might be exaggerating. Such thoughts circulated in everyone's mind as whispers filled the room.
